Chapter 21: Momo's After Death Plan and Vault gone wrong

      The pairs immediately split once they got into the maze, they all took different routes to find as many hostages as possible, just as planned.
      I rustled my jacket to get Cerberus' attention.

     'What?' She communicated.

     'Go help who needs it' I replied.

     After a sigh of annoyance she shot out of my sleeve and out into the maze, taking the form of a raven.

     I pressed the communication button on my earpiece, "If you see the raven above you follow it, it will lead you to a hostage and you can get back to our score area."
     I got a chorus of positive replies while they all kept an eye out for Cerberus. Hopefully she doesn't lead them on a goose chase for fun.

     I walked forward to look over the maze. It seemed Endeavor's team opted to go solo and carry bags back.

     I pressed to communicate again, "Alright, the other team separated in ones but this doesn't mean we can let our guard down. If they are separated then it leaves more space for a heroic sneak attack, be aware of your surroundings.
     Team Tsu you two are the farthest and are going to encounter someone soon, Team Mido and Team Oji you two will meet someone as well. Stay on guard everyone."

     I went back to the screens, seeing Endeavor giving out instructions as well. This is going to be interesting.

     The sound of Iida's brisk footsteps and the sound of my roller blades skating across the floor filled the gray, roofless hallway we were in. I was focused on any inlets where a hostage could be hiding.
     We had already brought back a few, and with Sakura's instructions and quirk our team seemed to be doing well.

     I skid to a stop, Iida stopping a few feet in front of me and looking back curiously.
     "I heard something." I explained in a whisper. I couldn't pin what it was but it was close.
     We both stood there in silence. Then it went off again. It sounded like...explosions!
     We both looked for a place to hide, from the amount of footsteps it seemed the explosions were not alone and approaching fast. Before we panicked too much I created a hiding place.

     Even though everyone agreed to separate and destroy, somehow I still got stuck with these idiots.
     "I could've sworn I heard people here!" The Electric Dunce-face said.

     "Maybe you heard wrong?" Weird Hair commented, continuing onward.

      "It wouldn't be the first time..." I grumbled.

     "Oh c'mon! That was once!" Dunce-face exclaimed starting to leave again. Weird-hair followed him laughing.

     I was about to go when I heard something, something like.....breathing. I stood silently in that hallway listening for those breaths again. It sounded like it was coming from the right but there is a wall there.
     I put my gloved hand to the wall, while letting off sparks I reached towards it and-

     "Bakugou! What are you doing? We gotta go!"

     "Alright I'm coming!" I replied, running towards them. They can get annoying.

    After the footsteps left I counted 10 heartbeats before pushing away the cover on the inlet. We now had a hostage and was able to avoid confrontation.
