Superheroes dealt with the everyday dangers of fighting the forces of evil, life and death situations and trauma, but were they ever nervous of going out with someone you met three-four days ago, and asking their usually absent friend in joining them?

"Gee, you acting if this was some sort of date or something." Georgia whispered from behind me the minute our french teacher turned away to translate something on the chalkboard, "...Is it?"

I could barely answer her, this was downright scary, scary than the time I've watched a horror movie with Asenath when I was younger and had to sleep in her room for three months straight.

My heart started to race just by thinking about it, 'Today will be the day, no excuses, no backing down, just ask.'

Jon and I didn't have any classes together this semester, which was a bummer but a relief at the same time. I couldn't text him, I meant it when I said not texting during the weekdays (Friday nights, now that was an exception) I needed to grow up and face him, that includes rejection.

"You look like you haven't hit the hey in a while, was your tutor to hard on you or something?"

I sighed, pretending to listen to the teacher as she spoke, "I had to do his questions first, then start on my report later...I think it was 2 am that I finished up...or was it 3?"

It didn't matter, I was more nervous than tired, I couldn't even close my eyes and take a small nap (something I rarely do in class). 'If Jon is busy, again, then I'll have to go to the movies with Jack, is there really a point in asking Jon to come?'

"You can't." my friend's hushed tone said.

"I can't what?"

"You hesitated, you can't back down now, (y/n). Jon and you haven't really hung out much, this is the best time to have fun together."

Class ended after thirty minutes of review, Georgia handed me her phone to look at her (social media) account, "Guess what Knave posted last night." My stomach did a flip, "I don't think I want to know what he or she did this time." Despite my pleading, she rambled on about the anti-hero causing trouble downtown, leaving thousand of sticky notes laying around every with death threats to the one's that 'Cause trouble to the innocents'.

Rumours surrounded this person, they could be a person, a student fro another school who were just "playing games" to make the entire school look bad so new students don't enrol. Another theory is that they don't exist, just a lost soul who out for revenge after being bullied to death. "And..." I forced the phone down her side pocket, "That's enough social media for one day."

I felt assured and calmed, as we entered the hallway, near the crowded cafeteria, with Georgia and, the boys. Nothing would go wrong, and Jon wouldn't possibly hear what I have to say.

Of course, my confidence shattered in minutes when we noticed a group of boy's walking in front of us, chatting among themselves.

"Hey, you guys are already friends, right? So his conformable with you." The soccer player stated, pushing me by my shoulders in a playful way.

She found her way behind me, holding me steady as if I was going to run away any second now, forcing me to walk faster.

"I know this may be imitating for you and all, but, I'm just going to say...sorry in advance for what I'm about to do next." I tried looking over my shoulder, demanding what were her intentions.

Georgia called out to the boys walking a little further in front of us. With every boy in the group head turn, Jon was about to the same, until I felt Georgia, with a strong force in sent me stumbling forward, where Jon stood.
