minseok was a bad guy. he had never been so sure of anything in his life. here he was, eating lunch with his wife and acting as though he didn't kiss his underage neighbor just hours prior.

"then how do you suggest i think of you, jongdae-ah?" minseok asked, pushing down his lust for the younger.

"as yours."

and with those two words, jongdae leaned up, pressing his lips against minseok's. minseok kissed back hungrily, all rational thoughts flying out his head. jongdae tasted like the chamomile tea he had drank earlier, and suddenly that was minseok's favorite type.

but minseok pulled away, suddenly remembering that his wife was home, waiting on her damned earl grey tea.

"i'm married," minseok whispered. jongdae just smiled softly at him.

"our secret, then?" jongdae looked up at minseok, innocent eyes filled with arousal, eyes slightly dilated.

"what's on your mind?" soyeon asked him, "you've hardly touched your food and you love food."

"nothing," minseok replied, "just stressed with work and such."

"oh, okay," soyeon replied, "hey, minseok?"

"yeah?" minseok asked soyeon.

"how come you never call me pet names?" she asked minseok. minseok blinked.

"what do you mean?" minseok asked her, "i call you by your name as you do me."

"i guess," soyeon shrugged, playing with her food, "just thought it would be nice for you to call me one sometime."

"i don't get you," minseok shook his head, staring at his wife, "one minute you're calling me the worst husband in the world and the next you're wanting me to call you pet names? what gives?"

"yah, i already apologized for that-"

soyeon was cut off by the doorbell ringing. minseok frowned, looking to the door.

"are we expecting anyone?" minseok asked.

"no," soyeon shook her head. minseok put his fork down, getting up from the table and walking to the front door. he opened it, revealing jongdae and one his friends, baekhyun, minseok remembered his name as.

"hi mr. kim!" jongdae smiled, handing him a letter. minseok stared at jongdae, wondering how he could play so innocent but also so dirtily. minseok took the letter, looking at it.

"what's this, jongdae?" minseok asked him.

"minseok, who's at the door?" soyeon asked, appearing behind minseok, "oh, its you."

"and you must be ms. kim," baekhyun smiled, "i'm byun baekhyun- jongdae's best friend and cousin."

"you both look alike," soyeon blinked, looking between the two.

"we get that a lot," jongdae nodded. baekhyun looked soyeon up and down. he wasn't very impressed. she was pretty, sure, but so was jongdae.

"jongdae's mum, my auntie, is coming home for christmas," baekhyun said, arm locking with jongdae's, "she's throwing a party."

"you both will come, right?" jongdae smiled sweetly, "my mum doesn't come home often."

"the fashion designer, right?" soyeon asked, "kim boyoung?"

"i mean, i just call her mum, but yeah," jongdae nodded.

"what about your father?" soyeon pressed. the smile fell off of jongdae's smile for a split second, and while he recovered quickly, everyone had seen it. minseok threw soyeon a glare, but she wasn't paying attention.

"my father is busy shooting a movie, please anticipate it," jongdae said, the words seeming scripted. baekhyun just flat out glared at soyeon.

"anticipate it? does that mean it's being shot in korea?" soyeon pressed further.

"baek, i don't know how to answer it from here," jongdae whispered to baekhyun, "normally they drop it and then congratulate me on his success and such."

"i got this," baekhyun whispered back to his best friend, glaring at soyeon, "uncle woobin is unfortunately tied up during the holidays. being such a popular celebrity, he doesn't have much free time."

"not even for his own kid-" soyeon started.

"shut up, bitch-" baekhyun cut her off, only to be interrupted by jongdae.

"please excuse him!" jongdae exclaimed, jabbing baekhyun in the rib with his elbow, "baekhyun's got a massive hungover and he was popping pills again."

"i most certainly was not-" baekhyun started. jongdae silenced him with a look, forcing on a smile.

"i hope you can make it," jongdae told minseok and soyeon, "we have to go invite the rest of the neighborhood now, please excuse us."

jongdae turned swiftly on his heel, already leaving minseok's porch. baekhyun stared for a second, glaring soyeon down. if looks could kill, soyeon would already be six feet under.

"that was a bitch thing to do," baekhyun said, soyeon's eyes widening since she wasn't used to being called out on her behavior, "it was easy to see his father is a tough subject for him and you pressed it anyways. i don't give a fuck if you don't like him or something. you're an adult. fucking act like it."

soyeon and minseok stood there in shock. baekhyun forced a smile.

"that being said, we hope you can join us christmas eve," baekhyun spat out with a fake sweetness, "if you are able to, keep in mind it's a high-class event and formal attire is mandatory."

baekhyun left, chasing after jongdae. minseok stared at his wife.

"what?" she asked innocently. he shook his head, shutting the door closed.

"that was wrong, soyeon, even for you," minseok said, going upstairs to his office, "i have work to take care of. clean your schedule- we're going to that christmas party."

"yah, you're not even going to ask me if i want to go?" soyeon huffed, arms crossing over her chest.

"no, because it's not an option," minseok replied as he walked up the stairs, sending soyeon a strict glare, "we are going. i'm not asking for your opinion or your attitude. if you do not feel like going, i will simply say that you did not want to. but i will be attending. i suggest you do the same."

"fine then," soyeon rolled her eyes, going back to their food, "some husband you are."

minseok bit his tongue, slamming the door to his office. he sighed, sitting down in his chair in front of his computers.

do i really have the right to snap at her after what i did?
