Everlasting Love
Suddenly, Prince Damien’s booming voice shattered the silence, “Father, we should declare war to Rowland! The crown prince of Rowland dared to mess with the honor of the royal family of Ecrutia and he must pay for what he had done.”
When Prince Damien saw that his father did not agree or disagree with his statement, he enforced his father with his next words. “Royal family should always uphold their honor and reputation. Is that not what you have always thought us? Now the time has come. We must protect our honor, father! No one will be able to escape once they temper with the name of the Royal family. It is unheard of.”
It was a long agonizing moments until the King opened his mouth, “What Damien said was true. No one should dare to temper with the Royal family. I order that we call for war! Damien, prepare for battle. Assemble our troops!” The King’s gaze turned to Prince Delvin’s, “Delvin, prepare for all the necessities including food and weapons.”
“We shall march to battle!” The King announced. Prince Damien was riled up. He immediately joined his father and together they rang the battle cry. He was now focused fully on the upcoming battle. I will have his head, Damien vowed.
