Chap 13~ Party

Denki P.O.V

I hear a knock at my door. I sigh and slowly get up and walk towards the door. I open it to find Mina. "Hey! Do you wanna go to that party thing? It may be a good idea to go.. if you do wanna go it starts soon and if not I'm sure everyone understands!" She said cheerfully. I slowly nod. She's right, it's a good idea to go. This will be the last time I do something fun with everyone. I'm sad I didn't have time to write more notes but I might try to. Everyone in 1A was so nice. I'm going to miss them. Oh well. This has to be done.

I fix my hair and wash my tear stained face. I don't change my clothes since I've been wearing what I would all day since I didn't go to school. I step out of my room and make sure my door is locked. I slowly walk down the hallway to the elevator. All this crying and not sleeping has taken a lot of energy out of me. But even so I still hit the first floor button as I make my way down to the party.

When I get off the elevator I instantly see a big party table of snacks, and another table with a bunch of games and movies. "Oh hey Kaminari! I'm glad you came even though you'd probably rather stay in your room tonight." Midoriya greets me first, Todorokis arm hanging around his shoulders. I wish I could've done that with Sero.. "Hi Midoriya. I decided it would be a good idea if i came. Try to get my mind off things for a bit right?" He nods. "Well again, I'm glad!" He says with his signature smile. Todoroki nods to me as they walk away.

I already know I'll miss them.

I continue to walk towards the common room, seeing more people. Momo and Jiro come up to me next. "Hey Kami! We didn't think you'd come." Jiro says to me. "Yeah, so I've heard. I thought it be a way to get my mind off things though so why not. Whats this even for?" I say, already tired of explaining why im here. The fake reason that is.

"Its a end of the year party! I know we don't finish for 3 weeks but everyone thought it be good to do it now instead of after the last day since lots of people would be going home then." She says excitedly. "Oh.. ok then." I sigh. "Are you okay, Kaminari?" Momo speaks up. I nod. "Im just tired." She nods in acceptance of my answer. "Okay well you can always hang out with us if you want!" She says, obviously trying to cheer me up. I mutter a thanks and we part ways, them going to the kitchen and me going to the common room. Everyone I pass mostly mutters a 'Hi' or 'Glad you came' or just nods. I answer with another 'Hey' or just a nod as well.

"Kamiiiii!" I hear an exclaim behind me before I feel someone jump on me as I see a pink arm wrap around me. "Hey Mina." I say tiredly. She. gets off my back and turns me to face her. "Come on. Don't sound so depressed to be here. Try to enjoy the party! This is for all of us you know." I nod. She's right. I shouldn't act this upset since this could be the last time I see some of these people. I need to enjoy my last time with them. I smile and try to have a more cheery voice. "Your right. Sorry." She smiles at my reply. "Good! Come on were all going to play truth or dare!" I laugh. "And who's idea was that?" Her face lights up. "Mine of course!" We laugh as we walk towards the couches.

Im sitting between Jiro and Mina. Kiri came a few minutes ago and is next to Mina while Momo is next to Jiro. So far Iida has given up completely, Uraraka and Tsu said their dating, Todoroki and Midoriya did the pocky challenge, Mina has had a hell of a fun time making every couple in the room embarrassed, Mineta was beaten up by every girl and has gotten himself locked in a closet, a few scenes of titanic were reenacted, secrets have been spilled and a few people have taken shots.. that may or may not have included me for one. Im fine though luckily. "Alright." Mina says looking around. She is someone who has taken about four shots and is acting a.. lot crazy. "Tokoyami!" He looks up. "tRuTh oR dArE!" She says, waving a cup of orange juice around. I hold her arm down so she dosent spill it over me and Kiri. Jiro leans over to me. "Truth." We've been guessing what everyone would say this entire game. I nod. "Truth I guess." The bird-headed guy says. Mina smiles. "Do you sleep with a nightlight because of your quirk?"

(Pause for a sec ok so I've wondered about this so much. If dark shadow goes crazy in the dark why is Tokoyamis room so dark???? Like it fits his personality but I feel like because of his quirk he'd have to have well.. lights.)

He pauses before answering. "I have to sleep with all the lights on just incase. I have a blackout sleep mask because of it." He says with a sigh. "CALLED IT!" Mina yells out. Some people laugh at Minas outburst and some are just slowly done. Im in the middle of that. Tokoyami starts looking around the room for someone to ask but before he can ask someone a door slams shut. "Everyone it is 11 pm. I know your having fun but this has to stop for tonight. You may resume your party tomorrow night as I know you all want to continue." He says with his same monotone voice. Almost everyone protests before standing up. "Im taking this one to her room." I say holding onto Mina's arm. Kiri nods. "Im helping as well." Aizawa nods slowly and confused. He dosent know there was alcohol involved as were all underaged. Well he probably does because many people were yelling "Shot Shot Shot!" As a few people downed them but, he dosent seem to care. We start walking towards the girls side.

"So tonight was fun right?" Kiri says, turning to me as we enter the elevator. I shrug. "I guess. She's gunna be fun to deal with tomorrow isn't she." She smiles a very big and toothy grin. Kiri sighs and nods. "Lets hope she dosent remember about tonight. Ill come to your room so we can help her in the morning." He says. I nods as we leave the elevator. After putting her safely in her room we head to our rooms.

"Don't worry Kami. Seros okay." He says, patting my shoulder. "Its just hard knowing each day nurses are checking on him more. Taking more tests all while he's getting paler and paler and just worse looking." I say, my throat closing a bit. "I know. You have to have faith in him. He's strong and will make it through this." I nod slowly, trying to not let the tears threatening to show come out. We get to our rooms. "Sleep well bro. See you tomorrow!" He says walking to his door. "Yep. See you tomorrow.. bro."

Alright Denki had a good night! Sorta.. what'll happen tomorrow? And what about the next day..

Imma try to make next chapter a fun happy one don't worry. I can't say the same for the one after that. I might start writing the next one soon so it may come out tonight or tomorrow.
