Chap 17~ (heh)

Denki P.O.V

I run as fast as my feet will take me. I run into the waiting room and quickly look at the secretary. She nods with a smile. She sees Kiri and Mina behind me. I hear one of them ask if they can go with me. I don't hear what the secretary replies with but im guessing a yes as a few seconds later I hear their footsteps resume.

I already know the exact way to get to Seros room. I make sharp turns and almost run into about 10 doctors/nurses already. I see the stairs come into view once I turn another corner. I had to much adrenaline to take the elevator. I run up two flights of stairs at a crazy speed. Im running faster then I did on any tests. Even the one where Mina and I went up against Nezu.

I bust through the doors at the top. I see his room come into view. I stop for a second. I was either about to be the happiest I've ever been in my life or the saddest. I was prepared for the worst... well as prepared one could be if they were about to see their dead best friend and someone they've loved for so long. I feel Mina and Kiri almost run into me. "WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!" They both scream. I turn to them. "What if he's dead?" I say, tears streaming down my face. I see both their faces drop. "Only one way to find out." Mina says, pointing to his room. "You go first." She finishes. I nod slowly before turning around and slowly starting to walk. Once I can start to see into his room I finally hear their footsteps resume. I stop again and take a huge breath. Here we go.

I walk into the doorway and look into the room slowly. Once I see the inside I scream.

"SEROOOOO!" Tears start streaming down my face at a faster rate then before.

Hanta P.O.V (IVE WAITED SO LONG TO WRITE THAT IM EEWUEWUWEFNBUREN)

I wake up to bright lights. My vision is really blurry. My entire body aches. What was the last thing I remember? Oh right... Bakugo. Im guessing Im in a hospital. I try to sit up but my pain dosent let me. I groan and look around. I saw a bunch of presents on the table. I couldn't move my arms without it hurting like crazy so I just look at them from afar. I see a little sign that said 'When you don't have any tape because you used your friends elbows for that' I laughed slightly at that. I saw a bunch of cards, all with different types of handwriting on them. I could tell who a few were from because of the handwriting but a lot I couldn't. I also saw lots of bags, im guessing had a bunch of gifts in. Soon a nurse walks in. "Oh my god! Your awake!" I look up at her. "Can you speak?" I try to open my mouth. It hurt a lot but I was able to make a quiet 'Hello' "Okay, don't strain yourself. Thats good so far. How about movement? Can you move much?" She asks. Her voice was soothing. I shake my head to the best of my abilities. "Okay. Let me just-" A little ring happens. I flinch at the sudden noise. "Sorry. Its the secretary." She says. "Hello?" I couldn't hear what the other person said but the next thing I heard from my nurse was, "Actually, he's awake!" She says excitedly before turning to me. "Are you okay with seeing your parents right now?" I nod as best as I can. She nods and turns back to the phone. "Yep! Send them up."

Soon after she puts the phone down I see two silhouettes in the doorway. "Hanta!" Is all I hear before im scooped up into a hug. I say a very quiet and breathy 'Hi'. They start talking at a pace to fast for my brain to comprehend. It ends up worsening my headache. I try to bring my hand to my head but it aches to much. "Im sorry to interrupt but, he has just woken up. Try to speak a bit quieter and slower as he still probably has a horrible headache. Speaking of which I will go get you some medicine." I nod to the nurse and make a small smile. "Oh im so sorry baby. Its just been so long.." My mom apologizes profusely. "H-- how.. l-lo-" My dad cuts me off. "How long have you been out?" I nod slowly. "You got into the fight on Sunday and its now Friday so.." Wow. Ive been out 5-6 days.

They continue to update me on some things that has happened. "K-Kami?" I look at them. "Oh yeah.. He's visited you almost everyday. He spends hours at a time here. He really cares for you Hanta. Along with your other friends but, I think he may like like you if you know what I mean." She smirks at the end. I start to blush. The nurse comes back in for about the fourth time. "Hey, your friends are here to see you. They've been waiting for a while, do you want me to let them come up." I nod profusely. Since I've been nodding so much it dosent hurt as much. I can also move a bit now and my headache has simmered a lot because of the pain killers. I am now sitting up. I can't wait to see them, mainly Kami. I soon hear a loud bang. Doors is my guess. I hear footsteps abruptly stop before hearing Kami's voice. I smile before I hear the words, "What if he's dead?" I shake my head. He sounds so sad. I look down until I hear a loud yell.

"SEROOOOO!" my head snaps up. Kami. "K-Kami!" I say in a normal tone of voice. My parents move out of the way right before he comes running at me and pulls me into the tightest hug I've ever been in. I wrap my arms around him, not caring about the pain. Not caring about anything but the boy in my arms. The boy I love.

We both sit there for what feels like hours. We just sit there in each others arms, crying. His head is buried into my shoulder and my head is just on top of his. Both our eyes closed. I slowly open my eyes to see my parents smiling like crazy and two other people in the doorway. One with light pink skin, one with longish red hair thats flowing in front of his face and beside it. Both crying. Kami still in my arms as I wave them over to join the hug. They both run and crash into me, making all four of us fall down onto the bed. Were all a crying mess. "G-Guys I can't.. breath." I manage to choke out. They all mutter a sorry and let go. I get back into my sitting position. "Holy fuck.. your okay!" Kiri says. I nod. "Well as okay as I can be." I say with a shrug as I point to my bandages body. They all laugh. "Ive missed you but, before anything.." Mina says, poking Kami. His face immediately turns red. I see my parents in the back, whispering to each other. The nurse already left.

"S-Sero.." He says, taking a step towards my bed. I turn my head a bit to the side, showing confusion. I think I know whats happening though.

"I like you."
