Chap 16~ Back Here Again

Denki P.O.V

"KAMI OPEN UP! ITS ABOUT SERO!"

I hear that and a loud series of bangs on my door. Wait.. about Sero.. is he dead? Was him saying "Come with me." A dream or is he... dead?

Whatever it is I need to go. I reluctantly pull my head away from the noose and hop off the chair. More bangs come from my door. "IM COMING!" I yell. As I open my door I see a frantic Kiri. "KAMI... SERO... NEWS!" He shouts, panting. Mina is behind him pacing. "WHAT KIND OF NEWS?!" I ask him. "I DONT KNOW JUST... NEWS. WE NEED TO GO!" I quickly nod and run out of the door, leaving it wide open on accident.

Eijiro P.O.V

I was sitting on my bed going through my phone. I planned on visiting Sero later today but I didn't know when.

Soon I hear somebody banging on my door. I quickly get up and rush to the door. I open it to see a frantic Mina. "K-KIRI ITS ABOUT SERO!" She yells in my face. "WHAT? WHATS WRONG WITH HIM?!" I join in the yelling. "I DONT KNOW I JUST GOT A CALL FROM SEROS PARENTS. THEY ALSO SAID THEIR CALLS WERNT GOING THROUGH TO KAMIS PHONE SO WE HAVE TO GET HIM." At this point we just continued yelling at each other. If other people were in the dorms we would have defiantly gotten yelled at by everyone nearby. But nobody was here besides us so it didn't matter. Im surprised Kami didn't come out by now though. We needed to get him. "OKAY LETS GO GET KAMI." Mina nods and we run to his room.

I bang on his door like Mina did to me. "KAMI OPEN UP! ITS ABOUT SERO!" I yell. After a few more bangs on his door he yells "IM COMING!" and opens the door. I try to explain but all that comes out is 'KAMI...SERO... NEWS!' He asks what kind of news and I just tell him we don't know yet and we need to go to the hospital. He nods and he runs out with Mina, without even shutting his door. I peak in to see what he was doing and I see a chair and a noose in the middle of his room. "Kami..." I say under my breath. I knew I should have stopped him from buying a rope. It seemed to suspicious after he had that little time with Mina. I shake my head and look next to the door. Its a card labeled Sero. I wonder if he made one for us. Then I look over and see a bunch of cards on his desk. I tell myself not to grab mine but I do anyway. "KIRI! COME ON!" I hear Mina yell from the elevator. "OKAY SORRY I WAS CLOSING KAMIS DOOR!" I yell back as I run out with both cards in my pocket.

Denki P.O.V

Oh god. He saw it. I know he did. It dosent take that long to close a door. Fuck. Well its to late now. I just hope he dosent ask me about it.

Once we make it outside we just start running. The hospital isn't that far and with all adrenaline we had, we just decided to run. We made it to the hospital in about 15 minutes. We were all out of breath but that didn't stop us from continuing to run.

The second we ran in the receptionist recognized us. "Sero Hanta I presume." She says calmly. We all nod profusely. "What happened?!" We all say very loudly. "I shouldn't tell you right now. Also im sorry but you all will have to wait to see him as only family is allowed right now." She says with a sad tone of voice. I knew if bakugo were here he would probably yell 'BUT WE ARE HIS FAMILY! AT LEAST DUNCE FACE HERE IS!' But he wasn't so we didn't hear it. Instead Mina says something similar. "We all act like his family. Hell im sure Sero conciders Kami family, if not a partner." She says the end nudging me with her elbow. "But even if we can't see him we deserve to know whats happening with him." She finishes after I push her away. "Im so sorry. It is best if I don't. I know you all want to know whats happening with him but it is defiantly best. Now im sorry but I have things to work on. I will call you all once I get notified that I can tell you what is happening or when you can see him." She says. She obviously wants to tell us but because of she said it must be something big that she dosent want us to freak out about. We nod sadly and walk to the seats.

Since she wouldn't tell us what was wrong with Sero, it left my thoughts to take over. First I thought about the dream type thing I had, then to the whole situation that happened today, then Kiri. Would he try to talk to me about it? Probably. I was worried about so much I didn't realize that both Mina and Kiri were poking me and saying my name. I snap back to reality. "Huh?" I say, still a bit dazed. "Kiri wanted to talk to you." Mina said calmly. I sigh, knowing what was about to come. "About what?" I ask, trying to sound oblivious. "I don't know.. Kiri?" She looks at him. "Alone." Is the only word he says. She nods as I stand up and follow him to a pretty empty hallway.

"Im sure you know what this is about." He says. "I understand were all really stressed right now since well," He points around the hospital. I nod and mutter a 'Yeah.' "Because of that I wont push about this but... why?" His voice quivers. "I just... I couldn't take the pain of being without him. Even though everyday you and Mina tried to convince me that everything would be okay, that he would wake up soon, that there wouldn't be much longer we'd need to go without him, I- I couldnt believe it. His condition worsened everyday and I let my thoughts go. B-but now im more scared." He listened carefully through the whole thing. When I said the last sentence he looked at me with a concerned and worried look. "Why are you more scared now?" He asked. "When I was about to... put my head through, I had a dream like thing. Everyone came into view. My family, the bakusquad, all of 1A, but at the end Sero came up. He didn't join the big group you all had made, instead he uh... he walked up to me. He held his hand out and said 'Come with me.' Im scared that that meant he was dead, and inviting me to come to heaven or whatever with him." He looked at me with more worried eyes then before. "Oh... Maybe it was just your mind going with what you've been thinking for so long?" He says, obviously trying to sound hopeful. I shrug. "I hope so.."

Then we turn around when we hear loud running footsteps. Soon a panting Mina came into view. "Guys we... can... see... him." She says between pants. Me and Kiri look at each other with wide eyes. I ran the fastest, nothing in my mind besides him.
