Chapter 13. A Permanent Mention

"This situation again? Didn't Wisdom and Sagacity told us to be patient?". Nemesis said annoyed seeing how Chance smirked. "Well, of course! But I believe I might now already who will it be". Chance says seeing how Nemesis had a confused look. From the other side a girl was caught up with the attention of part of known conversation.

"Then, who is it?". Providence asked while Fortune smiled. "Our beloved daughter of course!". Fortune says smiling which caused a frown on the other two deities. "You can't be serious". Nemesis said while Fortune gave a smirk meaning something is going on. "Well, I only saw something. The name meaning the stars will be the one". Fortune gave her explanation while Providence got in front of Nemesis. "There's a chance our daughter can have it! She also has the name of the stars". Providence bursts out angry not liking how Fortune was getting close to Nemesis. "Well then, why not a competition?". The husband of Fortune asked while Nemesis pulled Providence's hand and left just to listen to the word "Cowards!". It angered him how he those two believed that the child could turn out to be the future in charge.

Fate was in the house alone drawing since her parents told her they would be outside to do some important stuff. Fate understands her parents important participation in the universe and beyond. Despite that, Fate was smiling and drawing. One of her favorite hobbies ever, she somehow had the idea of making her drawings come to life, like a butterfly for example. Suddenly she heard the door opening meaning it was her parents. "How can you be so sure of that Nemesis?". The wife of mentioned deity asked worried as Fate heard that part. "Huh?". Fate questions standing up to see what was going on.

"I'm completely sure of it Providence". Nemesis says while he saw his wife look down. "Look, they are just trying to make us either pressure her or make us feel unsure". He clearly explains sighing. "Destiny is a child with a lot of potential, but that doesn't mean our daughter doesn't have that potential". Nemesis explained hugging his wife. "I'm sure that Fate will be someone great". He said in a calming tone as Fate left the scene to let them have their peace, she picked up her items quietly going upstairs to her room. "I've been thinking, maybe Fate needs a friend". Providence have an odd suggestion. Why? Because Fate has many friends. "But Fate does have a lot of friends". Providence's husband replied seeing how the other one shocked her head. "Yes, but Fate is not willing to talk with them about stuff like children do. Not even little Luck can make her talk". Providence said worried believing that they could abandon Fate or worse. "We'll let her go tomorrow to Majestic Meadow, many children often play there, I'm sure she'll find someone". Nemesis gave assurance to his wife smiling softly seeing how his wife gilded his hands with care.

"Fate? Is everything alright?". Luck asks outside the building of the meeting. They came a bit earlier than expected, so Sagacity let them be outside to relax. "It's something I remembered". Fate says in a sad tone while Luck looked at her. "What was it?". Luck's curiosity got into her seeing how Fate deeply sighed. "I have the feeling that this meeting will be regarding towards the Undertale Dimension". Fate says as Luck paid attention. "The Multiverse I work in that dimension is completely unbalanced and at the possible tip of death! I should've let Destiny be in charge of it!". Fate admits while Luck gave a smile that showed care. "Well, one thing I know is that either way she didn't trust many beings, so she wasn't fully capable". Luck assured knowing by seeing Destiny in current events. "I heard something when I was a child, a permanent mention that makes me doubtful. A mention that was related to Destiny". Fate said while Luck seems shocked. "My first time I met her is when we were teens". Fate adds while Luck this something. She opened some portals towards some places.

"Well, look at these! What do I see?". Luck asks while Fate stood up. "Many dimensions". Fate answered while Luck nods. "But! There's something related with you, a programming and a purpose". Luck explains being in the Real Life Dimension many times. Knowing about programming, science, etc. "Every character has it's purpose. Just like in a video game. Some are antagonists, some are heroes, some are even the fourth wall breakers that can make a game scary!". Luck gestured knowing well everything she was saying. A portals shows a group of 4 females getting along with a male, while in another one it was gender swap but not completely everything was the same. "A Fate is valuable to understand what you are, not only with a job". Luck gave Fate a hug as the other one returned the act. "So, either way. A fate will always be needed". Luck finished while Fate gave a small grin, making the girl in green know she helped.

"Oh! Did I interrupted something?". Sagacity asks while Fate and Luck shook their heads. "Well, the meeting will begin shortly. You should go in so no one can suspect, you know how many of them are". Sagacity says in a happy tone knowing it was true. Many people talked bad about Fate ever since she was assigned with an important role. Now, many people prefer Destiny over Fate which is true. Deep inside Fate there's this part inside of her that only a few know. The three female deities came in seeing and meeting up with the Season Deities. Animal beings that handle something that, well, they are. Nature. "So I see everyone is here". Wisdom, Sagacity's husband says by which many of them nod in agreement. "So everything is going good in this dimension?". Verity asks while she sees Gospel there thinking. "Well, What's the problem?". Summer asks worried. Summer is a female cat deity in charge of everything related with the summer season. Now what could've been awkward is that she could have seen Fate but she didn't. She needed the answer that was apparently urgent to know. "So before we talk apparently one Multiverse of the Undertale Dimension is falling apart". Wisdom admits while Fate's eyes widened as she looked down. "Does anyone know what's going on?". Sagacity asks in worry heading something. "I did it. It's my fault this is all happening. I should've let it be but I abused of my power and know they're paying the consequences of my actions". Fate admits at once making Luck gasp knowing that she sacrificed a valuable role. Everyone in the room was in shock. But Fate saw Sagacity get close to her with a stern look. Sagacity hugged her making Fate return the hug crying. "It's okay, I have done the same mistake when I was young". Sagacity admits giving her a smile. "Really? What happened?". Fate wonders making the older deity talk. A peaceful conversation began now that they know what was going on.

Karma looked at the sky, it was getting dark. He deeply sighed knowing that the meetings were very long. He looked at his wrists seeing the bracelets. 'Right, I'm not completely free'. He think trying to use his magic but receiving an electric shock from it. "I want to see them". Karma says referring to both, he knew things weren't at best with Destiny, but he still loved her. Suddenly dark came upon it and the night was out. Karma saw some fireflies flying around inside the house. "Wait! Please be out! I wouldn't like her to se evidence!". Karma tries to takes them out opening the window, it worked. "Thanks!". Karma says but realized the fireflies were going to stay. "Hey! Aren't you all leaving?". He asks curious to realize what the fireflies did. Color shift.

'Those are- No Way!'. Karma think seeing happily the fireflies. "You're Fate's fireflies!". Karma shouts with a positive attitude by which he laughed at seeing them. He really missed them. "Can you show me a portal to him?". Karma asks as the fireflies only made a visual window. It only took around a minute but it was enough. He saw Error playing with some girls in a house. He was safe. "Thanks! Maybe I should do something for Fate. What do you think?". Karma asks seeing the things the fireflies did.

"Alright! I'll do it!".
