Chapter 19. Little Sunshine For A Huge Dream

"Huh?". Karma opens his eyes looking at the area he was. An empty place surrounded by hanging looking souls. "Not again". Karma said with fear covering them. He began to walk seeing if it wasn't like any other of those past nightmares. He suddenly heard laughing from someone. He spotted a little girl with a lilac color looking scarf. Apparently she was going to a garden since she was looking at all the flowers. "Kate! There you are!". A male voice screamed as Karma saw in disbelief who it was. "You know our Great Grandpa will be mad at you if you don't tell him". The boy says while Kate looks down at the ground mumbling something as an apology. "It's okay little sister, let's go". The boy says by which he took the girl to a house he never recognized ever in his life. 'What kind of dream is this?' He thinks spying on them. Then they see a male with beard and an eyepatch which was sitting at a couch talking to both children.

"My name is Halo, I'm the father of Power, Aroma is my wife if you may not recognize me". "Spirit and Ambience are Grandma Kismet's parents". The little girl says which Karma seems surprised. "Great Grandpa Halo told us about them, I wish I could've met them, they seemed nice". The boy said while Karma looked the other way avoiding eye contact with them. "I'm a bit confused at the moment, I just need to get all of my emotions and thoughts straight". Karma says while Halo looks at him with a frown.

"You look like daddy!". The girl shouts causing Karma to look confused. "Thanks I guess". He says while the little boy facepalms himself. "Remember that it's disrespectful, you know". He says while the girl pouts. "You used to call mom by her name! That's not normal for a child!". The girl says causing the boy to blush. "That's different!". He fights back as Halo sighs. "Kids, remember that your parents hate to see you two fighting". Halo states as both children calm down. "Okay great grandpa". The both children said in unison as Karma looks at them confused but with a smile. "So, What's with this scene? I mean, there's nothing but this house". Karma said confused as both children look at Karma. "Great Grandpa likes to hangout here! It says it reminds him of big brother!". She says while raising her arms up in the air.

'Big Brother Huh?'. Karma thought while the little girl looked at him. "Hey, are you okay?". The little boy asks worried. "I-I think there's something I've been thinking and I-I". Karma cuts himself trying to calm down. "Y-You say Power is your son?". He asks looking away.  "Yes, why do you ask?". Halo looks at him confused. "Because Power is my father". He says causing everyone in the room to stay silent.

"Error. Kate. Go upstairs." Halo demands while Error nods and takes his little sister with him. What was going on?

"So, you're my grandchild?". Halo asks unamused. "I-I thought you died". Karma says looking at him stuttering. "We I did die at the year XXXX". Power says while Karma's eyes widened. "I was 7 years at that year". Karma says looking at Halo. "Dad and Mom said all of you were dead. They said they were all serious and that". Karma says holding his head.

Those were all lies. They wanted to hide the fact that he even existed. He hates himself! He's a mistake!

Halo looks shocked at the reaction of his possible grandchild and realizes that he was tearing up. Way worse. He noticed the appearance. Black sclera and darkness dripping down from his eyes. Blue strings were everywhere.

The kids were in the room and Kate was whimpering and snuggling her brother. "I-I'm scared!". Kate whimpers still hugging Error. Error just hugs her tight worried. He doesn't know what's going on. He recognizes his father's and his power being the same but, never these types of attacks. Error hears screaming and hugs Kate. She begins to cry out of fear.

Karma on the other side was beginning to scream insane and incoherent things. Halo looks worried he doesn't know if to trust this person that calls himself his son's descendant. Halo puts that aside and hugs the other one. He doesn't stutter and hugs back.

"I-I". Karma began to choke out, separates from Halo and cover his face. "You can't see me like this! Everyone dislikes this!". He says while Halo just looked even more worried. "Why would I dislike it? You see me treating a different colored skeleton with glitches and odd eye sockets like if he was my grandchild even though he isn't blood related". Halo says looking at Karma smiling. He gets closer and grabs his wrists to see his teary eyes. "I already saw this and yet, it seems you're unique and powerful."

"W-What?!". Karma asks shocked. "What are you talking about?!". Karma asks in disbelief. "Most people have hated these looks! I-". "Who doesn't hate them?". Halo asks while Karma blushes. "It's Fate". He says with no stutters but realizes his face was heating up. "Ah So Fate is your crush". Halo says as Karma turns red. "N-No! I'm engaged to Destiny!". He screams and covers his mouth. "Why are you ashamed of saying that?". Halo seems confused while Karma looked down. Something wasn't right. Karma should be proud of getting married. What's wrong then?

"Hey, you said something about you not knowing about me. And he never told me about having a child but know that you say that, I'm really wondering why did the kids called me their great grandfather". He says looking down. "Maybe it was instinct". Karma mutters as Halo slightly chuckles. "Probably". Halo says looking at Karma's eyes going back to normal. "I'm really disappointed on my son, he shouldn't have treated you like that". He continues as Karma's eyes widened. "I can see from your personality that you were forced to do things, it really bugs me how he was okay with doing that to you". Halo says looking at Karma with a warm smile.

Before anything else would happen Karma woke up feeling his head aching. "What happened?". Karma asks noticing that he was in a room. "I brought you here". Fate says smiling warmly as Karma blushes a bit. "No need to be embarrassed, that's why we're friends, right?". Fate says smiling. As much as she hates it, she must admit that Karma is engaged and will have to marry Destiny. She just can't let him go. Fate looks at Karma and sighs. He has a lot in his mind. Fate leaves the room while Karma remembers the two children. Kate. She's new. She looks like a little sunshine. A little sunshine in a big dream.

"So that's what happened!". Foox explains while a female was standing thinking. Her name was Erin. "So you're saying me that all of this happened in my absence?". Erin asks again as all of them nod. "Hey, now where's Error?". Erin asks as Lola sighs. "He's asleep, he hasn't been in a mood lately. Maybe because of Kammie". Lola answers while Erin frowns. "Kammie has been avoiding him a lot. It's like she is afraid of him". Gen says but Erin sighs. "Something's going on, I can feel it". Erin says as the conversation continues. No one noticing Kammie going to a room to see the skeleton asleep. Kammie shook her head from the horrid thoughts that invaded her.

Things were going to change a lot.
