One week later....
Sasuke's POV
"I'm telling you, Naruto. We need to decode this." I said to the blonde Hokage in Hinata's hospital room as she recovered. "I know, Sasuke. You'll need to find members of the ANBU to do that with. I can't do it, I need to stay with Hinata." He said. I sighed in frustration. "Fine." I said as I left.

I walked down the hospital halls until I reached a door. Head Medic Sakura Uchiha engraved on a gold plate was on the door. I knocked as I waited for the ok to enter.

"I already told you. I'm busy as heck today!! Now, it better be impor- oh, sorry, Sasuke. It's been really busy and people won't leave me alone and it's just.....ughh." Sakura shouted. I walked to her. "It's fine. I'll be here for maybe a week longer. I thought I'd let you know." I said. "Ok." She said. Her eyes were burning in frustration. "You ok?" I asked. "Sure. Don't worry about me, you have enough to deal with as is." She said.

I walked closer to her. "Sakura. Tell me." I said, straight faced. She sighed in frustration.

"Everyone has problems with me because I'm the new head medic and I'm also Lady Tsunade's student. Plus, they also like to try and get to me about the things they know I can't stand!!" She shouted. "What are the things you can't stand?" I asked. She looked away in shame. "About me not being a good mother and wife." She said.

I sighed as I walked to her side. I put my hand on her shoulder and looked to her. "You know what's the truth and what the lies are. I know it's hard but you need to let the lies go." I said. She smiled at me softly and sighed, trying to let most of the stress on her go. "Thank you." She said. "No problem. I'll be going to do some research for a while." I said. "Ok, and who's watching Sarada today?" Sakura asked. "Ino and Sai." I said as I left.

Sakura's POV

I sat at my desk, anxiously awaiting the report about Hinata's current health conditions from a nurse.

"Doctor Uchiha. Hinata needs to talk with you." The nurse I assigned said after getting my approval to enter. "I'll be right there." I told him. He left as I got off of my office chair. I grabbed the file for Hinata to mark down any improvements or more problems and left, shutting the door behind me.

"Sakura, I mean...Doctor Uchiha, she looks like she's getting weaker. She's refusing to eat or drink and she's almost always sleeping. I don't know what to do." Naruto said.

I sighed and rubbed the bridge of my nose as he finished talking to me in the hall. "I'll take a look at her." I said as we walked in. Hinata was laying on her bed like normal as she turned to me with a weak smile.

"Hey, Hinata." I said as I walked to chair next to her bed and sat down. She nodded a weak 'hello' back to me. "Tell me how you feel." I said. Please be feeling better. Please. I begged in my head. "I'm doing ok. I'm just very tired." She said. "When was the last time you ate something?" I asked. "Yesterday. I skipped breakfast and lunch. I wasn't hungry." She replied. "When did you last have water?" I asked. "Same time." She said. "Ok. You need to be keeping hydrated and you need to eat if you ever want to get out of here." I said. "Alright. How's Himawari doing in ICU?" She asked. "She's just about done. I was just about to go finish up." I smiled. "Good. Thank you." Naruto said as I left.

I went back to my desk and sat down, hoping I didn't have another patient to deal with for maybe an hour.

"I just wanna sleep." I said as I banged my head on the desk.

Knock knock

"Enter." I said.

The door opened revealing two familiar people. I stood up and bowed. "Lady Tsunade, Lady Shizune. It's good to see you." I said as I raised my head and walked to them. "No need to be so formal, Sakura." Tsunade smiled. I shook her hand and Shizune's. "How are you two? What brings you to the Leaf?" I asked.

"We're doing just fine. We heard that Hinata had delivered another child and wanted to check on them both. We heard they're both doing kind of poor." Tsunade said. "Right. I'll take you to see Hinata." I said as I got up once again and walked out with them to Hinata's room.

We got there and knocked before we entered.

"Granny Tsunade!? What are you doing here!?" Naruto shouted. "You're as loud and energetic as ever I see, Naruto. We came to check in on you guys." She said. "Thank you, Lady Fifth." Hinata said. "Hinata, come on. No need for any formal stuff like that." Tsunade groaned. "Sorry, Lady Ts- I mean. Sorry, Tsunade." She said. "Don't worry about it. How are you?" Tsunade asked. "Tired and everything expected. You?" Hinata asked.

"Good. By the way, where's that little rascal? Mini Naruto: Boruto?" Tsunade asked. "He'll be here in a few moments. My father is watching him until I'm released." Hinata smiled.

"I see. I'm going with Sakura to check out the new addition to the family. What was the baby's name?" Tsunade asked. "Her name is Himawari." Naruto smiled. Tsunade smiled and nodded, saying goodbye and leaving to see the baby.

We got to the ICU Himawari was in. There were cords surrounding her. We looked at her and decided to see if she was getting better, which we hadn't done yet.

"I think she's ready." Tsunade said. I looked at her. "Are you sure?" I asked. She nodded and grabbed a blanket, covering the child. She cradled her in her arms and smiled at her. "You are one lucky child. Pure beauty is already seen in you, little one. I can't wait to get to know you." Tsunade whispered to the baby, kissing Himawari's forehead. We carried her to Hinata's room, smiling widely as we waited for a sign to enter.

I opened the door after getting the ok and Hinata and Naruto stared at Tsunade, who still held Himawari. "Hima.....wari....." Naruto began, tears forming around his eyes. Hinata took a glance at her and began to try and hold her tears as well as they both failed to do so. "Boruto is outside of the door. Should I let him in?" I asked. "Yes. Thank you." Hinata said, her voice shaking as she cried and took Himawari from Naruto.

Boruto came in and stared at his new sister. "Mommy, is this my sister?" He asked, pointing at Himawari. "Yes, dear. This is your little sister, Himawari Uzumaki." Hinata smiled. "She looks pretty like you, Mommy!" He said. "Yeah, she does." Naruto said, still trying to wipe the new tears as they fell. "Mommy? Is Daddy sad?" He asked. "No, he's just really happy." Hinata said with a giggle. "Boruto, go with Aunt Sakura for a little bit. You're going to hang in her office for a bit." Naruto said after getting my nod of approval.

After dropping Boruto off at the office.....

I walked back to Hinata's room. "You needed to talk?" I asked. "Yeah. So, do you think that Himawari is going to be ok or should we keep an eye out for anything?" Naruto asked. "I hate saying this but she will probably be a little bit of  a sickly child for most of her younger years." I said.

Knock!

"Doctor Uchiha. You have an urgent phone call." One of my nurses said, holding a phone for me. I nodded a thanks and took the phone.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Sa-Sakura...you need to.....stay with Sarada...." Sasuke's voice said weakly in the speaker.

"Sasuke! What's going on!?" I asked as I stepped out of Hinata's room.

"I'm sorry. Just...stay with her....stay safe..."

He hung up.

"SASUKE!!!!" I cried as I collapsed onto the hard floor, Tsunade and the others coming to see what was happening.
