About 8 1/2 months later

Sasuke's POV

Her tight hold on my hand loosened as she became more relax. Suddenly another cry in the room was heard. Sakura's eyes widened as tears formed.

"Baby, you did it." I said as I played with her hair and kissed her forehead. Itachi and Izumi, who helped with the delivery, came back in. "We've got a nurse taking care of the baby. They'll be back soon." Itachi said as he stood next to us.

"I'm so proud of you." I said as I kissed her.

The nurse came in with the baby in hand. "What did you name her?" Izumi asked Sakura.

"We named her Izura. 'Izu' from you and 'ra' from my name." She said as she held our new baby girl. "Wanna call Hinata and tell her to bring Sarada over?" She asked.

"Sakura, it's like, five in the morning. Let's wait." I insisted. "Well, Hinata said to call as soon as we could even if it was in the middle of the night!" She said, her voice raising. She realized it soon after.

"Sorry, I'm tired but that's still not an excuse." She said.

"Baby, you're fine. You just gave birth after being awake since one in the morning. You probably only got three hours of sleep." I said, getting into my phone to call Hinata.

She answered and said she'd be right over with Sarada. Sure enough, she was at the hospital three minutes later.

"Sarada. This is your little sister, Izura." Sakura said as she held the small black haired baby.

Sarada peeked over Sakura's arm to see her new sister. "Woahhh she's so tiny!" She said in marvel. "Yeah." Sakura laughed. "I'm going to have Hinata take you back so we can all get some sleep, ok? Thanks so much for doing this Hinata." I said. "No problem. Let's go back, Sarada." Hinata smiled as she walked out with Sarada.

"Do you want to hold her?" Sakura asked me.

"C-Can I?" I asked, a little nervous.

"Of course." She smiled.

She handed the small child to me as the baby readjusted herself. I held my tears as I looked at the small form in my hands. She was my second daughter. Being second didn't make her worth any less.

Sakura had fallen asleep and Itachi and Izumi went to work again, leaving me alone with Izura. I held her close to my chest as I leaned back in a chair in Sakura's room.

She was my daughter. I looked at her. She was my beautiful daughter. Just....why couldn't I understand that she was mine!? I shook the idea away. She was mine. That's all that mattered.

She began crying, waking Sakura up. "I'm just gonna hand her to you." I sighed. "Alright. I got it." She yawned. I handed her to Sakura. Sakura smiled softly at her and began to fall asleep. I rushed to her side, catching her head and supporting the baby's head. Sakura looked at me. "Thanks." She sighed. "No problem. Rest. I'll take care of her." I said. "First I need to feed her." Sakura said.

After she was done being fed, I took Izura into my arms as I smiled at her. She stirred in my arms as she went to sleep too.

A knock rang through the room later in the night. Itachi and Izumi came in, not in work clothes. "Your shift done already?" I asked. "Yeah. We came to see you guys." Itachi said. "Can one of you take the baby please?" I asked. Izumi walked to me and took Izura. "You two are going to need all the rest you can get." She laughed.

"Thank you. She was just fed so you should be good for a while." I said as I relaxed into my chair. "Do you need anything?" Itachi asked. "No." I said, eyes closed.

I woke up so Izura crying. "Come here, baby girl." I said as I reached for her, either Itachi or Izumi giving her to me as I kept my eyes closed. I held her close and hummed a song that Sakura used to sing all the time. She almost immediately relaxed and fell asleep. I leaned back further and rested her on my chest.

We slept for a few more hours until Izura was hungry again. Sakura woke up, energized and ready for anything. She fed Izura again and signaled me to sit with her on the hospital bed after she was done. We held her between us as we laid down, facing each other.

"She's so beautiful, baby." I said. "I know. She has your hair style though, I can tell already." Sakura laughed. "I can't wait until we see her eyes. I hope she has yours." I said. "Why mine?" Sakura asked. "They're beautiful." I said, kissing her forehead as she smiled softly.

"I'm so happy that we have a family." I said. "I am too." She smiled. A knock rang through the room as we looked to the door. Naruto, Hinata(who carried Himawari), Boruto, and Sarada came in. "Come to see the baby?" Sakura asked.

"Yeah. And say hi." Naruto said.

"First, Sarada come sit next to me." I said. She sat next to me as I held Izura. "Do you want to hold your sister?" Sakura asked. She nodded rapidly. We laughed at the excitement and taught her how to hold her new sister. "She's so cute." She whispered.

Izura began to fuss. "W-What do I do!?" Sarada panicked.

"Go ahead and talk to her. It'll calm her down." I said.

"Hi, Izura....I'm your big sister.....Sarada......" she began as she continued, watching her sister relax in her arms.

Sakura and I looked at each other and she rested her head on my shoulder. We were a growing family.
