She was the smallest girl Cecilia had ever seen. Lily Evers, four-foot-two of pure cruelty. Her dark, wavy chocolate brown hair that came to her shoulders and icy blue eyes were her most beautiful features. She was so slim it looked as if you could blow her over with a breath. She had a regality that put the Evil Queen to shame. She would kiss your cheek while stabbing you in the back and currently she was kissing Alexandre DiCampi. The gasp that escaped Cecilia’s throat drew their attention to where she was hiding. She burst out of the closet and sprinted down the hallway to bang on Cassadee and Daniel’s room. A disheveled Daniel opened it looking worried. Cecilia collapsed into his arms and sobbed. “What did my brother do?” Daniel asked starting to look angry. Cassadee came up with a grimace, “I’ll kill him.” Cecilia stood to her full height and composed herself, “I can do it myself.” She strode back into her room to find it empty. The trio heard a bang from the park behind the house. Cecilia ran out the back to see someone running and another on the ground. She tripped trying to get down the hill, so Daniel scooped her up as he ran alongside his girlfriend. They stopped about a meter from the figure. Cecilia scrambled over and knelled next to the young man. Daniel held Cassadee close so she wouldn’t see, “Who is that?” A voice so small it was almost carried away by the wind replied,
