“MOM! Mom! Get up here!” Cecilia screeched. “Cecilia Lucifina Moore! You know better than to yell through the house, I’ve been telling you that since you were a child,” Billie said when came in. “Whatever. Where is the cot?” Cecilia sighed. “There isn’t one, just share your bed honey,” Billie said before walking away. There was a knock, “Hey, can I come in?” “Yeah, just shut the door,” Cecilia said flopping onto the bed. Alex flopped down next to her just as ungraceful, “Bring your face here.” She slid her head forward, “What?” Her grumpiness was at maximum pout. "Have you ever kissed anyone?" Alex asked in a hushed whisper. Cecilia schooled her expression to a calm one, "No." Alex grinned, "Close your eyes." She complied after she cast a skeptical look his way. She struggled for breath when she felt a soft  pair of lips press to hers. "You can open your eyes now," Alex said almost shyly. "What just happened?" Cecilia asked never changing her look. "W-well you said you never had been kissed so...." Alex trailed of as a rosy hue spread across his face and down his neck. When Alex met Cecilia's eyes again her pupils were blown so wide that only a sliver of pale yellow around an orb of grey. "Do it again," she said with a voice an octave lower. He gave her an evil grin on par with the dark look she was giving him.

"What the hell happened to your face?" Cassadee asked at dinner. Daniel sniggered behind his hand, "I know..." Alex sent a glare his way to shut him up, "How come you didn't ask her?" Both of the sisters' parents, Cassadee, and Daniel answered at once, "Because she always looks like a wolf in a frenzy." Cecilia's jaw dropped, "I do not!" There was a chorus of 'yeah you do', 'uh huh', 'you know honey', and 'I think it's the eyes that really make the look'. "Anyway! Nothing happened to my face," Alex answered. "I'm sooo sure," Daniel mumbled under his breath. Cecilia calmly got up as in she was clearing her dished, but launched across the table at the last moment. Cassadee screamed, "NO!' as Alex pulled Cecilia off his brother. "Why aren't you helping!?" Alex asked struggling with the girl in his arms. "We're used to it," Tom replied leaning back. "She's always been like that," Billie said pulling her wine out of the path of destruction. Daniel managed to run out of the room before Cecilia got out of Alex's grip. From the next room there was an inhuman sound and a yelp of pain. "Hey he ran to the not breakable room! That's my boy!" Cassadee exclaimed smiling. Cecilia came back in with blood on her hand and mouth/chin, "I scratched my face." Daniel limped in holding his nose, "I think I need a band aid." Everyone started laughing before Cecilia told them, "I'm going to clean up." "I'll come!" Alex said slipping away after her.
