SHADOW
Time slows down as sorrow surrounds me in a suffocating cloud. I struggle to breathe as my soul evaporates in front of my eyes.
A dark shadow comes at me suddenly and a horrid shriek escapes my lips.
The shadow smiles... If that's even possible with a shadow....but I swear I saw it smile at me.
The shadow envelopes me like a blanket and a sudden coldness over comes me.
I try to fight against it try to will myself to bring my soul back to be able to survive this horrible nightmare but I know it's pointless. What is there to go back to? Nothing..... life is worthless it's nothing because I am nothing...
The coldness pushes harder and instead of pushing back I let it take me.
The coldness spreads through my body, cooling my boiling veins and I relax against the shadow.
It cradles me in it's self and when I open my eyes I see that I have become a shadow.
A shadow that will also rid people of their misery.
