Chapter 18

I sighed as I trudged through the dreary gray school hallways.

(((A/N Ali is feeling Privileged because she got a sneak peak of the first sentence while I was writing it)))

I felt like I had been hit by a bus. My arms and legs ached and I felt extremely nauseous, not to mention the fact that my brain was a mess with all the thoughts about my date last night, agreeing to be Wills girlfriend.

Oh god.

I am so regretting this right now.

I sat down in my physics class, falling into the chair and resting my head on the table. Teigan and Evie sent worried looks my way but didn't say anything. Mr. Drew, or "Doctor Drew" as he liked us to call him, walked in. He was nice and everything, but sometimes we wondered about his sanity.

"Hello class!" He screamed, startling a few people. He clapped his hands together loudly. "Today we will be working with velocity!"

Velocity.

Oh joy.

"Kayla...."

"Kaylaa!"

"KAYLA!"

"Aaarghh!" I screamed, shooting upright and banging my head on someones chin. I winced, rubbing my head. I turned around to see Andria, Evie and Teigan standing over me.

Wait a second.

What's going on?

"Eurrgh... Guys." I whined, rubbing my eyes. "Where am I?" Teigan stifled a laugh.

"You fell asleep during physics." She explained. I did? I guess that would explain things.

"Oh." I said stupidly, causing them all to crack up. I frowned and swatted at Evie. "Guys! Don't make fun of me!" I complained.

"Sorry." Andria apologized, while the others kept laughing. She's such a softie. All of a sudden the bell rang, stopping everyone in their tracks.

"I'm gonna be late!" I all but screamed. Evie rolled her eyes.

"Oh, loosen up a little!" She said teasingly. I frowned.

"Yeah but I have English next, we have Mr. Mental and he has something against me. Plus we have that damn duck project, I hate it."

"Yeah, but you're partnered with Liam!" Teigan wiggled her eyebrows at me. She saw him quite a bit, she was dating his best friend Andy. For a second I panicked. She couldn't know about the kiss, could she? I hadn't told anyone! The panic quickly subsided when I saw it was just a joke.

"I'm with Will." I said, meaning for it to come out as a statement but it sounded more like a complaint. Everyone stared at me with shocked faces. Oh yeah. I hadn't told anyone yet.

"Surprise?" I said meekly. Andria smiled, while Teigan and Evie stared at me with disapproval.

"That's great." Andria said as we make our way to our classes. That girl is so naive.

"Bye!" Teigan and Evie waved as they made their way into the math wing. Andria and I headed towards the classroom, before Andria stopped.

"Shoot, I forgot something in my locker. You keep going and I'll catch up with you."
