Hey there:) got lots of time off school this week! :D no school = Wattpadding! ;) soo... no one won the contest:( The answer was..... *drumroll* D) Evie !!!

Chapter 22

"So first we're getting shoes, then makeovers okay?" Evie recited.

"Sounds good!" Carly piped up. I nodded as I continued sipping my java chip frappucino. I finished it and threw the cardboard starbucks cup in the garbage.

"Let's go." I said, picking up my big purple leather purse. The girls followed behind me as I headed toward the shoe store. I was still on crutches but I could manoeuver myself easier and it wouldn't be long before I was better, I'll be free by prom! It was just us three of us today, everyone else seemed to be busy.

I had to buy stuff to match the pink dress I bought. Which meant silver or black heels, and whatever makeup would probably be fine.

Carlys dress was a lighter pink. The bodice was fitted with small silvery designs, and the skirt poofed out slightly. It was a beautiful chiffon and it looked amazing on her.

Evies dress had taken months to find, she started dress shopping in march. She wasn't picky, but with her red hair not a lot matched. Last week she found a stunning plum colored dress that accented her hair perfectly. It had thick straps and went into a bit of a v-neck. There was a thick black belt around her waist and the skirt flowed to the ground, with a small slit in the side that showed off her legs.

We are going to look pretty damn good together.

I nudged Carly.

"Did you make sure Mason got the right color tie?" She blushed.

"No, not yet. I better remind him." They made such a cute couple. They had been together for a year now, and they were completely in love. Mason was adorable, he'd do anything for Carly. We're secretly going to nominate them for cutest couple at prom, I'm sure they'll win. They had been spending alot of time together lately, but I don't blame him. They hadn't seen eachother in six weeks what with her away in South America.

As for the rest of us, we were mainly single. My love life was sort of a mess. Evie was happily single. Then there were Carly and Mason, and Teigan and Andy. Summer had a different guy every week, and Charelle was single and waiting for a guy. Toni scared guys away and Andria had a somewhat unstable on-and-off relationship with a guy who lived in the next town over, Chase. As far as I knew they were in an argument right now, but they would make up before prom. I'm sure we'd all manage to find a date for prom.

"SHOES!" I looked up to see Evie running into the store.

"Whoa, calm down Eve." I chuckled. She glared at me.

"Shut up, I'm having quality time here." She said gesturing to the pair of heels in her hands. "Now, if you'd leave us alone for a moment." She left to try them on infront of the mirror.

"That girl is crazy about her heels." I marveled. Just to go to the mall she wore her lime green pumps.

"Who isn't?" Carly shot back. "There's so many of them." We stared into the store.

"Well I'm definitely not getting leather boots, so that narrows it down again. And I'm not getting-"

"Wait a second." Carly stifled a laugh. "Are those what I think they are?" I looked over to where she was pointing.

Oh. My. God.

We both burst out laughing at the same time.

"Crocs!" I laughed even harder.

"But they're heels!" Carly laughed again. "Who would sit down and think 'hey, lets make rubber heels covered in bumps and holes!', like honestly!" we laughed.
