Hey guys!

Chapter 21

"I feel so badass." I commented as Charelle curled my hair. She burst out laughing, nearly dropping the curling wand on my hair.

"Ouch!" I screamed in pain as the hot surface came in contact with my ear.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! Are you okay?" She said, taking the wand back and inspecting my ear.

"Yeah, you're fine." She dismissed it quickly. "Sorry, but you're not very badass." She stifled another laugh. I crossed my arms over my chest defensively as everyone else in the room agreed

"I can be badass when I want to!" I said. She laughed again.

"Kayla, you are the least badass person I know." Toni said. "Well, besides Andria." Andria made no move to correct her.

"I am too!" I protested. They erupted into giggles again. I tried to silence them with my death glare, but they just laughed even more.

"See, you're not badass at all." Carly said. "Your death glare looks like a retarded pigeon." She laughed even more.

Okay, I know it's not that great but a retarded pigeon? Really?

"Well I am sneaking out of the house to go on a date." I pointed out smugly.

"Yeah yeah." Evie said reluctantly. "But it's not really sneaking out, John's at football and your mom is going to her work thing." I grimaced.

"Oh shut up." I said, poking her with my crutches. "Next time I'll hit you in the head, and it won't be just a poke either." I threatened.

"Oh yeah?" She smirked. "Well you're disabled, I could knock you down with one punch." She retaliated.

"You two are ridiculous, neither of you would ever hurt a fly." Carly pitched in. I smiled sheepishly.

"Would you stop it?" Evie exploded. "Do you remember the last time you said I wouldn't hurt a fly? Do you want that to happen again?" She questioned. Carly rolled her eyes.

"So basically Evie went around and found fifty two flies and then either killed them or ripped off their limbs." Carly explained dryly. We all turned to stare at Evie. She looked around innocently.

"What? I had a point to prove." She shrugged non-chalantly.

"You always have a point to prove." Teigan muttered.

"Well just because I stand up for what I think and won't back down unlike you guys-" Evie shouted as the door opened.

"Are you guys alright?" My mom asked curiously.

"Yeah, it's just Evie." Andria said.

"Ohhh." My mom nodded in comprehension. "Well I have to leave for my meeting now, you girls have fun." She said as she closed the door behind her.

"Let's start the party!" Summer shouted. I laughed.

"You do know she's still in the house, right?" I pointed out. She stuck out her toung.

"Oh well, yolo." She said.

"Let's make the most of the night like we're gonna die young!" Carly broke into song.

"Wild child, looking good, living life just like we should!" We all joined in. We ha practiced this many times.

I know, I know. Don't judge.

"Looking for some trouble tonight!" Toni sang. "Take my hand I'll show you the wild side!"

"Like it's the last night of our lives!" Charelle sang.
