Y/n and I had moved towns just a few days ago. Y/n was having a hard time with it, but she never let on. I knew it, I could see it in her eyes.

The longing for her old friends. The late night walks she'd take with her ex-boyfriend. The fun parties she went to.

Y/n and I are opposites. She's a positive and fun person. I'm a gloomy and weird person. I have a messed up face, she doesn't.

I remember her face when mom died. I wanted to pet the dog, y/n said she'd go with me. We both left without mom and after that it's hard to say. Things went haywire, mom died, y/n cried and I lost my face.

Y/n never blamed me, though. She was always a good big sister like that. She protected me at all cost, even if she got into trouble. I love her so much. I couldn't imagine losing her.

We were in our room, laying in our separate beds. Sadly, the apartment only had two bedrooms, so y/n and I had to share. We didn't mind too much, but at times it can be awkward.

Like when I walked in on her changing yesterday, or when she accidentally walked in on me naked. Sure we're siblings, she changed my diapers when I was a baby, but it's still gross.

Y/n's four years older than me, making her nineteen. She wanted to move out as fast as possible, but with dads drinking problem and the new town, she decided to stay with us. Mainly me as she said.

"SALLY?!" I look at y/n from my bed. "Yeah?" She sighs heavily. "God, I said your name, like, twenty times." She said. "Sorry, what were you saying?"

"Larry wanted to know if you wanted to go over? He texted me, since you weren't texting back." I chuckle and grab my prosthetic.

"Tell him I'll be right over." She nodded and I left. I entered the elevator, the doors about to close, but a hand stops them. Y/n smiles and enters with me. "Hi?"

"I hope you don't mind if I join. I gotta start making friends again soon." She said with a giggle. "I don't mind at all. I know Larry wants to get to know you. Said so last night." Y/n grins widely.

The elevator doors open and we step out. Y/n followed me to Larry's door. I enter without knocking and greet the boy. He had his back to us, shuffling through a pile of clothes, shirtless.

"Hey, man, do you know where my black Sanitys fall shirt is? I'm pretty sure it's here somewhere." Larry said. Y/n giggled and picked up a shirt from the floor beside us. It was the shirt Larry was searching for.

"This one?" She asked. He turned around and went wide eyed. "Y/n?! I didn't think you would come join us!" I chuckled and sat on his bed. "Sorry to crash the party. But here's your shirt." She handed it to him. He smiled at her and took it.

I watched as they smiled endlessly at one another. Larry still had no shirt on and y/n was still staring into his eyes as well as him.

I squinted my eyes and shot up. I marched in between them and pushed Larry away. "She's nineteen, dude! Get your shirt on and y/n, stop staring!"

They laughed and obliged. Y/n sat beside me on the bed as Larry sat on the beam bag chair.

"So, y/n, what do you like to do?" He asked. "Lots of things. Cooking, playing video games, shopping. I could go on." They shared a laugh as I sat silently. They continued talking, laughing about this and that. Have they forgotten about me?

"Stop. Just stop. You are nineteen. You are fifteen. So stop with the fucking flirting stuff!" I growled. They rolled their eyes and huffed. "We're not flirting! It's called making friends. Also, no swearing, or I'll hurt you."

We glared at one another, breathing heavily, but we both broke into a laughing fit. We are weird siblings. But she'll always be the best.
