I sat in my room with Y/n as they read their book on my bed. How do I tell them?
Sally, Y/n, Todd and I search for ghosts, demons, any supernatrual activity, but how do you tell the group that you are in fact a demon/alien.
My father, Jim Johnson, wasn't from Earth, therefore, I am half his race. Whatever he was, I am half. I have these . . . Abilities. I can travel through the astral plane. Only on rare occasions, though. I'm not quite sure how, it's just, sometimes, like Sally Face, I blank out and I find myself in a different dimension.
The walls are darker, a black cobweb covers most areas. Places, depending where, are more dense and fearful.
I try telling others, but I fear their reaction. We hunt demons. I am one of those demons, so what would they do?
"Larry?" I was brought out of my mind by their angelic voice. "What's up?" I asked. "Wanna watch a movie 'cause my book is getting boring at the moment."
"Sure, you can choose." They nodded, walking with me to the livingroom. They picked from our selection of movies and chose a romance.
"Romance? Come on, pick something scary!" They rolled their eyes. "No. You know I hate horror, but I do love me some romance." They put the movie in, settling on the sofa beside me.
I put a blanket over the both of us, sighing loudly. "You okay?" They asked. "Yeah, I just need some food. I'll be back." I got up, getting a bag of chips and soda. I looked from my kitchen to Y/n. They were watching the previews with a smile, swaying from side to side at the slow music.
I sighed, wishing I could tell them my secret.
I started feeling light headed, the room spinning. Fuck. It's happening.
The room turned dark, black cobwebs everywhere. Y/n was gone. I walked around, trying to find something, anything. This is so strange.
I could hear chatter. The other ghosts. The ghosts talk in this realm, though they don't speak to me. They don't even look my way. It's almost as if I'm a ghost in the ghost realm. Strange concept.
The chatter subsided, the voices turning into one single voice. "Larry? Larry! Are you okay?!"
The world turned back to it's full colours. Y/n stood in front of me with worry and fear. "You weren't speaking for, like, five minutes. It's like you were gone, but here." They giggled.
"I was." I said. I need to tell them. "What?" I sighed, bringing them to the sofa to talk. "I need to tell you something. I-" I didn't finish. My eyes glossed over with tears as I tried speaking.
"I'm not human, or fully human, anyways," I started explaining. "My dad he was, um, not from earth. I don't know where, just that I'm half, well, alien."
Y/n sat still, staring at me with a weird expression. "You're an alien? Like, alien, alien?" I nodded, pursing my lips. "Fucking sick, man!"
I shake my head in confusion. "What? I mean, what?" They giggled. "Okay, yes it's weird. But, like, this is so cool."
I laughed. "Glad you think so." They asked, "Wait, why didn't you tell me before?" I scratched the back of my neck awkwardly. "I wasn't sure how you'd react." They laughed. "Please, this is me we're talking about. I don't give a shit!"
I agreed, laughing along. "That's true. So? How do I tell the others?" I asked. "I don't know. Causally bring it up?" I huffed. "Yeah, that'll work."
"I do6nt know, man. Oh, hey, the movies ready." They pressed play on the remote, settling back into the blanket. I shook my head in amusement and followed suite.
I'll tell the others later.
