Skylar POV

I should have run away when I had a chance. I can't run faster than these beasts.

"Stupid Skylar. You don't have any luck on your side. First mother then Robert now death is waiting for you." great now I am talking to myself.

The continuous growling sound made me so scared. I closed my eyes and waited for my death to come. All I can hear is wolves growling.

When nothing came to me, I decided to open my eyes. Brown wolf is fighting with few more wolves. Is it wolf war going on here? Or they are deciding who is gonna eat me, the winner will get the prize which is me. 

That man is nowhere to be found neither dead nor alive. What Happened to him? Maybe he jumped into the river to save his life.

Brown wolf is severely injured still he fought with many wolves and killed them all. I feel bad for him. Why in this world I am feeling bad for a wolf, Who is going to eat me eventually.

Suddenly my mind started to work now is the time for me to run for my life. I ran inside the cave and came out to the side I came from yesterday. After closing the cave opening with the same branches I used yesterday.

I exhaled the breath, I was holding for a long time. My heart was still pounding very fast. I almost died today.

My mind wonders what happened to that brown wolf. He was injured. I felt a little sad for him. Why feel bad for him???

Don't know why? I sighed.

After this small adventure morning, I need food. Keeping my hopes up, again I went to big rocks which provided me food yesterday. I caught six fishes as I feel more hungry.

I ate them and kept leftovers in my bag to eat later. Then decided to leave the place immediately. I am not sure to take risk of those scary wolves.

I started to walk opposite the direction of the cave. Now I was moving along with the river. I desperately want to be out of this forest.

"Stop right there" a loud voice echoed through the forest. That deep forest is.

I turned around and saw two shirtless handsome men coming with some wolves behind them. One with blue eyes and another with brown eyes. Their eyes staring at me dangerously.

Wolves once again, I will never get used to wolves. My eyes searched for the brown wolf but he wasn't there. these wolves are not fighting, they are not hurting these men. It means they are pet wolves. I relaxed a bit.

"Who are you? Where are you going without asking for permission?" The same voice came from a man with brown eyes. He was angry.

"I am lost here." That's all I came up with.

"Where you came from?" With this, I am scared again.

" I don't remember as I hit my head hard." I tried to show them the scratches. I fell from the bike remember.

"Don't lie to me." He sounds angrier.

His eyes are blood red. I started to panic, I need to run. He was starting right in my face. He grabbed me by arm. His grip was very strong and commanding to not move. I felt something different in his touch. His brown eyes soften a little bit or were it my imagination.

"don't ever lie to me. You are not allowed in this land." So he is the owner or caretaker of this land.

"I am not stealing anything. I was just passing by. Leave my hand, I will never come back here." I wasn't even planning to stay here. With their facial expressions, I know they are not going to help me out of here.

"NO" came with a light growl from his chest.

Something is wrong with this person. The sound was almost similar to a wolf 's sound.

 "You have seen more than you should have. You are coming with us. I will deal with you separately". He closed his eyes and left my hand. I can see his fingerprints on my arm. He moved and started to walk in the direction of the forest.

Wolves started to follow him. Just like pets do with their owners. Another man pulled the rope from his pocket and started to come in my direction.

"Why? What are you doing?" I cried.

He tied my hands and gave me a push to walk forward.

" Walk." Was his only response.

"Okay, untie me I will come with you." I tried my luck. Nope, I don't have any luck.

"Move or I will kill you right here" he signed me to move.

Without having any other option I started to move. Who these people are? People having a wolf as their pet, I never heard of. I don't know where I am going in this endless forest. I just hope someone kind might help me enough to get away from here to some far city.

"Move fast". He said again. I don't have a habit of walking so fast. I was never allowed to go out even for a walk. These men are walking so fast. Either I am tired or they are walking faster than a normal human. From their body, I can say they are athletes.

It was almost dawn time. After walking for so long, I was feeling hungry. I have fishes but with tied hands, I can't eat. My hands are hurting from being tied for a long time.

There I saw some big and small houses. Maybe they will allow me a bed for the night. Two men coming in our direction. Brown eye guy instructed something to them and they nodded their head. Their focus is only on me like I am the culprit or something.

Each one grabbed my arm and started to take me away from houses. The path was clean but I can smell something dirty not sure what.

I looked back for that brown eye guy. He was walking forward without looking at me even for once. Was I expecting some mercy from him?

They took me inside a gate and now I have a very bad feeling. They took my bag from me. I looked around it was kind of prison cell and the bad smell was coming right from these cells. I saw some humans and some wolves chained inside those cells.

"Why I am here? I have done nothing" I want an answer.

One of them opened a cell and threw my body inside like a toy.

"I will call the police and file a complaint against you."

In response to that, he just laughed at me. Now I was alone in this cell and don't know until when I am gonna be here. God, what I have done to deserve this?
