22. Dinner

Tuesday evening,

Today the weather is really nice, the orange-colored sky looks so beautiful. From the balcony, all I can see is deep forest and a beautiful sunset. I love watching the sunsets. Birds are flying back home, their chirping sound is giving me a relaxed soothing feeling.

I wish I could fly from here to somewhere no one knows me. I am just tired of regular drama. I want to be free and alone. Not sure whether I am allowed to think these things.

"Sky..." I heard a faint voice.

I turned around to find Pyne at the balcony door.

"Uhh"

"I want to talk to you."

"Is everything alright?" I got tensed.

"Relax, everything is fine. I just wanted to talk about us."

Right now I am in a different kind of mood, not sure what though. I just don't want to give any kind of pressure on my mind.

"About us?"

"Sky, I like you. If I am not able to find my mate, would you accept me as your mate?"

"Huh!!!?"

"Sky I just want to know what you think about it?"

"Pyne, I don't want to ruin our friendship. I don't want a mate. I just want to take a long nap and after waking up, I want all this mess to go away from my life like it never existed." I am not mad at him, just don't want to think about these things.

"Sky...." He began but I interrupted again, "We both deserve happiness. I don't think we will ever be happy. One day you will find your mate just as your father. Don't lose hope."

I left the balcony and went inside a room. I wish it was all just a bad dream. I just want to move out of all this drama. I lay down on the bed and closed my eyes.

'Moon goddess, your child is tired. Please help me.' I prayed from the bottom of my heart.

Wednesday : 3 days to go

Gabriel called the whole pack for a meeting. He was talking very politely. He announced that very soon he is going to choose a mate. I sigh internally, he is going to create a death bed for me and her chosen mate. I am not going to make out alive from this pack.

Thursday: 2 days to go

Today everyone is busy except us. The whole pack is happy and preparing their bags to join the mating celebration. Some of them are going to meet their true mate, some of them will choose. New members will join this pack and some of older ones will leave.

I wish I could feel the way they feel about their mate. The feelings of happiness, while doing something for their mate. A feeling of being loved and cared.

"Sky, you are not going anywhere." Everyone staring at me.

"What happened?"

"Gabriel wants to meet you for dinner " Johnson informed.

"I will go." Gabriel wants to meet me, sound very odd. Doesn't it? But right now I want to play along with him. Don't want to take any risk. I am also interested to know what exactly he is planning to do?

"No, I won't allow you to go." Pyne blocked the door.

"Let me go, He won't kill me because he likes to torcher me. We don't want to fail our plan, do we?"

Everyone closed their mouth. They all want to meet their mate. For them, I can sacrifice myself, if I need to.

Johnson took to a restaurant. The whole restaurant was empty. I took a seat and saw Gabriel coming my way. I gulped down and tried my best not to run away.

"You went to the white moon pack?"
How did he know that? I choose to be quite.

"You thought I will never find out." He said angrily. Nope, I am not going to react.

"I told you to stay away from my pack members so you started to fuck another alpha." A tear escaped from the corner of my eyes.

"Enough is enough."

"Tell me why you went there?"

"To find a way to end my pain?"

"Liar, you went there and fucked the alpha. You pleaded to accept you in his pack. But he refused that's why you came back....you whore."

"Kill me, right now. I can't take it anymore." I am tired of getting hurt.

"Tell me what you have done with the alpha of the white moon pack?  Why he is so interested in you?"

"What? I never met him." Oh, that's the thing, but why someone unknown, will be interested in me. Maybe all these things are manufactured in his gutter head.

I stood and started to walk towards the exit.

"You are not allowed to touch or even think about any man. Stay away from all men. I will kill each one of them."

"Jealous?"

"You have ruined my life, I won't allow you to ruin more lives."

"You have ruined my life, you won't even kill me. " I picked a fork from the nearest table and tried to hit him.

He caught my hand in the air. Fork automatically dropped down from my hand as I winced from the pain.

"Listen to me, stay away from men or I know another way to make you listen." Horror flashed my eyes and he gave me a deadly glare.

He left me there. I sat down on the floor and cried my heart out. Oh God, why my life is so miserable? What I have done?

Friday: 1 day to go

Almost each and every wolf left with Gabriel to join the mating celebration.

We will start our master escape plan from tomorrow night when Gabriel will be busy in Mating celebration.

Absentmindedly, I opened witch's letter. This time it wasn't blank.

"Hey beautiful, would you like to dance with me?"

"Grayson" Woah... I like the spell of this name. But who he is? What exactly witch wants to tell me? Suddenly, I am not upset anymore. I am curious to find about this mysterious man.

Honestly, I didn't plan this dinner scene. It came out automatically when I was writing. Not sure why I chose to keep it.

I had to reveal the name to avoid confusions.
