16. Picnic

It's been two weeks since I had that deadly painful episode. That night I almost died. Pyne blames himself for leaving me alone that night. Yeah! They know what happened inside the park.

I didn't need to tell them whole story because they caught smell of Gabriel all over me. He kinda left his mark on my hand.

My hand got bruises where he touched me. Who cares about hand when my full body is covered in bruises? Now, all bruises are almost gone.

No one saw him after that night. The girl he was with that night got admitted to hospital. Just to hurt me, he used that poor girl. I feel bad for that girl. That jerk, everyone wants to kill him accept me, I want to know exactly what he is hiding? And that night told me one thing no one can help me.

I want to run away from this situation. But Liza said, if I ran from here, Gabriel will get a reason to kill me. I want to die but not with Gabriel's hand. Neither I want to live nor I want to die. Neither he will kill me nor let me live.

Martha, Serena, Pyne, Jolly and Jimmy everyone is trying to lift my mood. They also upset because of all these things. Johnson is also worried about me. He came to meet me. Seems like they understood things happened that night.

"How do you feel about him?" Johnson asked without mentioning his name.

"I feel hate, hurt, and burning pain." Yeah, that's what he gives me.

"Do you feel attracted to him?"

"No, I hate him." I have nothing to hide.

"It may be possible that feeling is different for you as you are human, and he chose to constantly hurt you."

Is it true? Is he my mate? My head hurts terrible. I need to do something. Next time I see him, I am going to reject him.

After Johnson left, I sighed and closed my eyes. I wish I could choose my life partner. I want to hug someone, someone who really cares for me. Maybe I am just a normal unlucky girl with abnormal life.

To change everyone's moods specially mine, we planned a small picnic beside a lake.

I haven't recovered from that night. I wore a full sleeve top with high waist pants. I don't want to show my skin to anyone.

I haven't been out of this room since that day. I prepared myself for some stares from pack members. Instead of stares I got empty halls and kitchen. I shook my head. Obviously, my friends did this so that I won't feel embarrassed. Everything was ready when I came down.

We went to a different direction I have not been before. Slowly as we moved, I saw some mountains. It was beautiful site.

"We were going to lake right?"

"Yeah honey, it's just that lake is on that peak of mountain." Pyne replied with a smile.

"Why no one mentioned it before?"

"It's a surprise for you." I rolled my eyes. If I knew before, I would have refused to come. That's why they didn't tell me.

It was beautiful combination of forest and mountains. Sunrise was mesmerizing here. I wish I could live here. I am feeling cold. Thanks to Serena for bringing jacket for me.

While trekking through mountains, I completely forgot about everything. Finally, after two hours of trekking I saw a road.

I twitched my brows and stared at everyone.

"Surprise" everyone said in unison. We could come hereby a vehicle, but they choose to trek. It did work because I am feeling pretty well.

When we reached at peak of mountain, I can see we are at the beginning of mountains. It seemed smallest as compared to others. In middle of that small lake was a bonus beauty. Martha explained that Bluestar pack have more of forests than mountain. Only few mountain peaks comes under this pack.

My eyes were stuck with beauty of the mountains that I forgot my surroundings. Martha pulled me by her side. We sat beside lake with our legs in water. It felt freezing and nice.

Pyne and Jimmy went to swim. Being a wolf has their benefits. They are not feeling cold. I am still staring at mountains. Jolly caught my eyes.

"Those are really beautiful mountains. Isn't it?" I hummed in response.

"Have you been there?" I want to go there.

"No, those mountains doesn't come under our territory. Those mountains come under White Moon pack."

"Oh, can we go there?" I am totally lost in the beauty. It's like those mountains are calling me.

"It's almost impossible, we need to take permission from both alphas. I don't think we will get permission from our alpha." She said sadly.

"Can we ask Johnson? I'm sure he will not refuse our request."

"He doesn't have the authority any more." We both sighed.

"What about alpha of white moon pack? Will he allow?" Not sure why I ask this. Just being curious.

"He is far much better than our alpha. He is so handsome and young too. Every girl dreams about him. He is always ready to help, I don't think he will say no to harmless pretty girls."

"Have you met him?" I am feeling jealous the way she is talking about him. The spark in her eyes, making me angry.

"It's kind of ritual for alphas to come and support their pack. I met him in last year's mating ceremony. He looked like a Greek god in those black suit." I can see her desperation and something inside me doesn't like it.

"What about his mate?" I should not feel bad as every wolf is destined with a mate.

With mention of mate her face dropped a little, "No, he hasn't found her mate yet. In last day of celebration, he was there till end. Everyone left except him, seemed like he was broken from inside."

Serena interrupted us,"Hopefully, we all will find our mates this time. Now, come on we are going to catch fishes."

She brought everything. We all took a hook to catch fishes.

Pyne and Jimmy caught fishes by their hands. Their fishes we're large in sizes and mine was just a tiny one around finger length. Benefits of being a werewolf.

We enjoyed our day very well. We ate fishes. Jolly and Jimmy both are awesome singers. Pyne can play guitar very well.

We all were dancing on tune of guitar, that's when I saw him. With shocked expression on my face I continued to stare at him.
