39. Healing

My mate was shaking and that machine was making too much noise for my liking. Situation didn't looked good to me.

I started to call Doctor. I didn't know where I can find her but needed her immidiately.

Door of hospital room opened and Henry walked in.
"Alpha, what happened?"

"Call Doctor right now."

Within few minutes, I heard some rushed footsteps. Serena was carrying, doctor in his arms. In other situation, I would have raised my eyes.

"Where are your manners? You can't pull out someone from bed like that." Lizy, Lily oh whatever her name was continuously shouting.

Serena dropped doctor on standing position but she was continuously rambling something about improper behavior.

Serena wasn't here, was she? Why she was carrying doctor like that. Whatever, I relaxed little bit to see doctor. Hopefully, she will help my mate.

Before I could say anything, Serena turned doctor so she was facing my mate, "Liza, calm down. Sky needs your help right now."

Liza.. Doctor gasped when she finally observed the situation in. She checked , that stupid monitor which was making sounds.

She stopped for a moment, her eyes fixed at my mates neck, moved from there to me.
"I see, You marked her." She spoke in a very low voice. Almost in disbelief. Few hours ago, I refused to mark her.

But that look in her face, scared me, "does her body rejecting my mark?" I was getting tensed. Did I make a mistake?

"I don't think so, still something is wrong. I need to run some test on her. Anyone, help me move her to Laboratory." As soon as Liza spoke, I moved forward.

"Not you alpha, please calm down you are scarring me." She looked around to check who else was in room. Two people, Henry and Serena were there.

Henry tried to ....yeah he tried to moved forward but took a step back immidiately. His eyes locked with Serena then to ground.

Serena moved and started to move my mate with her bed with Liza.  When Serena crossed in front of Henry their eyes locked, I could see the pain in their eyes. Something was wrong.

As soon as they were out of sight, Henry sighed. If mate wasn't in danger, I would have laughed seeing him like this. I never saw him miserable.
"What happened? Everything all right?"

Henry sat down on extra empty bed, "So many things went wrong and now she is very mad at me. When you were out, some sluts came to me asking if we are going to kill or declare them as rogues. I was just trying to calm her down. She was holding my hand, right there Serena walked in. Later I found out that slut never liked my female, so she choose me as a Target to hurt her."He released another breath he was holding and continued, " When Luna needed doctor , I didn't tell her and directly went to pick doctor up from her home. As soon as I came out of the house carrying her, Serena came. She took doctor from my hands and totally blocked me out from our link."

Okay, that was a lot. Too many misunderstanding, and she got jealous.
"Henry, once we reach back to white moon pack, you are allowed to take one week off. Spend some time with her. She is not mad, she is just jealous.  Try to understand her, and make her understand you. Once she knows you, she will trust you."

"Thanks alpha, Hope she will understand me." He was still upset.

"She is a wonderful person and perfect beta female for the pack. You are lucky Henry. Give her sometime, everything will be fine."
He looked at me, "You too Alpha, Wait for sometime. Luna will heal, very soon." I sighed, I really hope so. I want to meet her properly in real. Last time I met her, she was drunk.
