10. Search for Mate

"Can I get a glass of water?" A sound broke my deep thoughts. I opened my eyes to meet a pair of blue eyes. He faces looked very similar to Johnson. In one look anyone can say he is his son.

I took a glass and filled it with water," here."

"Hi, I am Pyne. I never saw you here before."

"Hi, I am Skylar. Yeah! I came here today."

"So, you are the new girl, the pack is talking about."

"What they are talking about?"

"Nothing." He tried to hide.

Is the alpha? After connecting all theories Johnson's son is the current alpha.

"Are you alpha?" He started to laugh, like a maniac. I went back a few steps and stared at him.

"Hey, Don't be scared. My older brother is Alpha. You are so cute, you just made me laugh. Oh, my God, I like you already. Welcome to the pack."

"Did you eat?"

"No, I am waiting for others to finish."

"Oh, once you are done with your work meet me at the back door of this house. I will give you a tour of this area."

"Sure, I would love to join you." Yeah! I need some friends. Who doesn't like to go out? Especially, when you are getting this change for the first time. I am happy as a kid.

"You are so childish. I will wait for you."

Almost everyone left. Again they eat at every speed. Martha and I sat and enjoyed our food together. Let me tell me she has magic in her hand. I can kill for food like this. No wonder, they ate without having patience.

While eating Martha told me so many stories about the pack. She likes to paint. In her spare time, she paints, drawings houses everything. Sometimes she has painted trees as well.

She loves to shop as well. She is planning to shop. I looked down at my clothes. I need clothe, don't know where my bag is? Serena give me a pair of her clothes when coming out of the hospital. I too want to go on shopping and buy some clothes, but I don't have any money.

After cleaning the whole mess we left towards the back door where Pyne was waiting. Obviously, I told Martha and Serena. Now we are going together to spend some quality time.

Pyne was waiting with his two friends, Jimmy and jolly. They were friendly as well.  All five wanted me to show everything today itself which was not possible. We went to a lake nearby. Pack area was huge. They explained, how do we are not allowed in other territories without Alpha's permission. If we go, we will become rouges. They wanted to show me more places, but I was exhausted.

"Hey, this morning I got released from the hospital. What more you expect from a human." I said with a pout. They all laughed at me. But I am not embarrassed, they are my friends.

"Okay, we will go back now. Tomorrow morning we will show you our training session." Serena gave me a wink.

"And, in the evening we are going shopping." Martha declared.

"I can't go, I don't have any money with me."

"Hey, don't worry. Friends in needs, friends in deeds" Martha offered.

"No, I won't take your money. If you really want to help.."

"Speak up girl, don't hesitate."

"They took my bag in dungeons, it is possible to get that back?" I asked unsurely.

"I will get your bag back, no matter what." That's Pyne.

Oh! my God what I have done to get such good friends. Thank you so much.

After coming back to the pack house, we prepared dinner for everyone. Now, I was so tired. Martha and Serena had a fight over me, finally, I decided to stay with each of them on alternate nights.
Today I am staying with Serena as we have plans for tomorrow morning.

Oh! We are so excited to see some half-naked guys fighting with each other. That's going to be fun. I heard a knock on the window. Then one more.
Serena was in the bathroom, I was scared still opened the window. I saw Pyne on the ground.

"Go back." I was confused still did as he said.
Within five seconds, he was holding window Gates and came inside the room. I looked down than to him.

"How did you do that?" I was in shock.

"This was nothing for a werewolf. Here is your bag Sky."

He handed me my bag. I was too shocked to see, he was holding my bag.

"You are Amazing Pyne."

"Don't praise him much, he will eat your head. He is doing all this to impress you" Serena came out of the bathroom.

"Why would he do that? Anyway, thank you so much."

Pyne and Serena locked their eyes for a few seconds but no one said anything.
I was so happy to get my bag. Now I have clothes and money as well.

"What's that bad smell?"
There I remember, my fishes. I had to throw them in a dustbin.

After talking for some more time, Pyne left. We too slept. I looked to the moon from the window and wished to see him in my dreams. I know I have a mate out there but this feels so good.

Next morning.

"Sky, please wake up. Our secret plan, it's time to move."

I opened my eyes, the first thought, I had been he didn't come to my dreams. I am missing him. No pain no dreams.

After freshen up we wore a pair of a tracksuit. It was too early. But Serena said they train early morning.

The cool breeze was wonderful. I never enjoyed these small things in my life, but I will from now onwards. It took 20 minutes to reach training grounds as I was walking slow.

So many bare chests, we are drooling them like hungry dogs. Oh, god, the way they are moving their body. Their body are so manly, I can see their muscles from so far. FYI we are not the only ones who were here to see them. So many other females we're there.

"You know why we came here?"

"Why?"

"No mate can handle that his mate is staring at other males. If your mate is here, his wolf will come to claim you."

"Oh." Not sure, what to say.

Serena pointed towards a bodybuilder, " He is our Alpha, Gabriel. He was out of town from last few days." There he was, the brown-eyed guy.

Our eyes locked for a few seconds.
He pulled a girl besides her and kissed her so deep in front of everyone. My throat went dry. I was coughing so hard. My throat is hurting.

Serena caught my shoulders and made me sit on grounds. She gave me some water, but my throat hurts. The same way it used too a few nights ago.

We came back to packhouse and took all the medicines given by Liza. It gave me some relief.

"Was she his mate?" Out of blue, I asked her. Why I am interested to know?

"He never found his real mate. His chosen mate was a crazy bitch witch. She is dead. Now he can choose any unmated female as his mate. Unmated females throw herself on him, just to be Luna of this pack. He enjoys them."

"What a jerk?" Disgusting. It hurts.
We sighed together. It's his life, his choices to make.

But my mate didn't come, our mate search plan got failed. And the pain is back.
