35. Breaking The Curse

Hello there, my lovely reader. This chapter is not edited. Right now, I am focusing on writing. Editing is a chore that I don't want to do right now. Sorry for that.

They were almost close to Bluestar pack. They could clearly hear sound of fighting, grunting, frustration.
"What kind of sound is that?"

"Two alphas are fighting. From the voice, I know one of them is Gabriel. But who challenged him? Or did he challenged someone?"

"Gabriel broke my pack links, I can't ask anyone from pack."

"Shit... we need to move fast."

"Pyne what happened?"

"Skylar can feel his pain. She will be also hurting because of the curse. An Alpha never challenges other alpha for small matters. When do challenge, the fight ends only with death."

"Let's go we need to save the alpha, whoever he is."

"And Skylar too."

The scene was not what they were expecting. Two large wolf were fighting in open field. Blood can be seen everywhere. Dried blood, semi dried and fresh blood too. Emily started to panic.
"So that's how it looks when two beasts fights."

"Alpha fights are always brutal."

Emily was scared. She was about to mate a beast. She didn't want to but very soon she made up her mind. She got an idea and she decided to finish all this drama.

"Who is another alpha? I did ask help from another alphas but they all wanted me to challenge Gabriel."

"He is my nephew, alpha Grayson of White Moon pack." Liliana spoke.

"Pyne, where were you?" Jimmy was coming towards them.
"Jimmy, what is happening here, I don't understand."

"Alpha Grayson came looking for her mate, they had an argument and you can see the results. Both are fighting from last two days."

"Who is his mate?"
"Skylar."

At the same time, alpha Grayson grabbed Gabriel's arm. Gabriel started to scream because of pain. Another female scream caught their attention.

Pyne, Emily and Liliana immediately looked towards pack hospital and  understood.

"This is what happening, whenever Gabriel is getting hurt."
"We know" Liliana spoke.
"What do you know? You just came here."

"Right now we don't have time to explain. Pyne, Emily move forward and do what's needs to be done."
Jimmy didn't understood anything. He had lots of questions about these two females, who they are, why there are here,  what these three know and how, what they are planning to do. But he trusted Pyne, and chose to be quite.

"Where is Skylar? Bring her out here."
"She is in very bad condition. Doctors are monitoring her. She is not in condition to come out."
"But we need to do the ritual in front of both(Gabriel and Skylar)" Emily looked at Liliana.

"Get dew drops of her blood."
"Ok. I will get it for you." Jimmy didn't waste time and left to get Skylar's blood.

When he came back with a cloth. Blood was falling down from that.
Emily gasped out loudly. Everyone was shocked. Jimmy sighed.

"Take it and help Skylar. I can't see her like this."

Emily's hand were shaking. Liliana handed a knife to her. She took Pyne's hand and made a cut, blood started to take flow out. She made a cut in her palm as well. She covered Pyne's bloody hand with her and started to chant something.

Pyne felt like a connection was forming between him and Emily. He felt close to his mate. After few minutes she stopped and released his hand.

"It's done." Emily spoke.

"Your mate bonding has started to weaken the curse. Now we need Grayson's blood."

"Are you going to do the mating ritual for them as well? What if Skylar doesn't want Grayson as her mate. She is a human. She won't be able to fight against it."

Liliana smiled at Emily, "Emily, my dear. Grayson and Skylar are true mates. Mate bond will eventually work for them. Same goes with you too. I know you did this ritual to avenge dead witches. Do you think a human can survive from this much blood loss?"

A shiver went down from Emily's spine when she looked at blooded cloth.
She didn't had any answers.

"This ritual will help her to recover as well." Liliana added.

"I need Grayson's blood. Get me some."

Jimmy went and came back with a blood stained cloth. Cloth was shredded.

"This one got shredded when Alpha Grayson shifted to wolf form." Jimmy clarified in case anyone having any doubts.

Liliana took both blooded clothes in her hand. She put both clothes together and kept between her palms. The she started to chant same as Emily.

Suddenly she shouted, "I am going to perform mating ritual for you and your mate. Grayson, you need to accept the bond."
Grayson looked at her side for few seconds. His wolf nodded his head in agreement.

Gabriel's wolf took this opportunity and gave a huge scratch on his back. Grayson winced from pain.

Liliana remained calm and continued to chant. Everyone was looking at her.  She opened her eyes slowly and spoke, "It's almost done."

"Emily hold both clothes together and repeat after me."
Both continued to chant, slowly other people realised that Skylar wasn't screaming anymore. Jimmy was worried about her so he went to hospital to check.

Liliana and Emily opened their eyes. Cloth in their hand caught fire and turn into ashes immediately.

Liliana turned towards two alphas and shouted, "Grayson, It's done."

Grayson's wolf put all of his strength and broke Gabriel's hand. His large claws came out and he immediately snapped Gabriel's neck. Within moment Gabriel's body was lying lifeless on the ground .

They heard a thud sound, Grayson fell on the ground as well.
