Lucifer found himself surrounded by darkness. His eyes had yet adjusted to the new environment. Confusion clouded over him. Why am I here? He felt around the floor, it was hard and cold like he was on top of an iceberg. He'll return soon.
"Lucifer..." A familiar voice whispered.
"D..dad! Thank goodness you're here. You put on a great show back there I tell you. You even had me fooled for a second. Let's go back to heaven, I have a lot of books I want to continue reading!" Lucifer happily exclaimed.
He stood there, not moving, not saying a word...
"I'm not sure what you're referring to. You're not going anywhere, you committed a great sin," god said in a monotone voice, "the biggest sin of all! Actually maybe not the biggest. Adam and Eve committed the biggest sin, or the first sin really. But is the first the biggest sin? You could be first at something but there are others. As we're speaking, Adam and Eve are probably sinning..."
"What the fuck are you on about? What's all this about sin? What the fuck is sin even? Where did you pull that word out?" Lucifer interrupted god, "and beside's all that, you told me what to do and I did..."
"How could I...god do such a thing to my creation!? I didn't tell you to do anything, you were jealous of humanity and succeeded at kicking them out of their perfect world. I don't know why you're so jealous Lucif...Satan. But you will forever be beneath me and everyone will know what you did. On heaven and on earth."
Now, what in the world is he talking about? Lucifer couldn't shake the feeling of confusion. He thought this was all an act.
"Something doesn't seem to add up father..."
"God! My name is god you understand?" god aggressively told Lucifer.
"But you're my father..."
"I am your god, not your father. Never refer to me as father ever again. I wouldn't want to hear that word coming from your filthy mouth. Maybe you'll deceive me as well, and then I'll believe that you love me, but then you backstab me and take the throne for yourself. You selfish and evil thing!" god declared with conviction in his eyes.
"I just don't understa..."
"And I could care less if you understood or not. I will leave you alone now. Good luck in this pit of hell," god said as he left Lucifer on his own.
Lucifer looked up still processing what just happened to him. A wave of emotions overtook him, but the one constant was betrayal. What did I do wrong? Lucifer curled up in a ball, wanting to let out tears, not out of sadness, but out of confusion. However, the cold and loneliness overtook him, not allowing him to think about anything else. But then he felt something touch him. He opened his eyes and looked up to see a beautiful yet strange woman, looking at him dead in the eyes.
"If you're so cold, why don't you do something about it?" She said.
That's right! What am I doing? I could sit here depressed that he betrayed me. Or I could do something, make something better than him. Be better than him. Lucifer stood up, looking at the naked beautiful woman. A fire lit up within him, he felt something change not only within him but around him. Warmth. Fire began consuming the darkness, killing it faster than the eye could see. Everything set ablaze, even Lucifer and the woman. But he wasn't scared, and the fire wasn't eating either of them. This feeling, is this what he felt? Lucifer looked at the woman, she wasn't doing much, just looking around.
"Uhh excuse me. Who are you?" Lucifer asked.
"Lilith."
"What a beautiful name."
