House Mark

I yawned as I laid on my little bed it was hard and uncomfortable but in my sleep I see the green dreams where I can feel and live for somewhere else a beautiful forest, a perfect ocean or lands I have no idea what or where they are all I know is there is a wonderful boy I had seen him in my green dreams since I was a little girl and the two of us used to sit and chat we often talked about the complexity and wonder of the green dreams we have had and we even used to kiss there, I sat up from my bed and got on my dress on beginning to work on cleaning the clothes and such like

"Y/n?" A girl asked on the other side of the room rocking her baby back and forth "what is the mark? On your shoulder?" she asks

"What mark" I said trying to ignore the question

"There on your shoulder" she asks "It never moves no matter how many times you wash" she laughs

"Because it is a mark that can't ever leave" I smile "Unless I was to skin my own arm" I answer as I wash

"but where did it come from?, I heard stories of folks coming across the sea with marks like that, prisoners, Rapers, murders" she says

"Well I am none of those, this mark protects me" I smile

"from what?" she asks

"From becoming some little fuck slave" I answer

"I was under the impression it promised you as a fuck slave" another woman smirked as she came in from the main area of the house she was naked and hopped across to her bed slipping on her dress "That is what that mark is isnt it? It promises you to some boy doesnt it" she smiles

"It does" I nod "It's why I don't go to work out there with you girls I am promised my childhood promised to the boy of house... uhhh" I began

"who?" the first girl asked

"I don't know, my family arranged the union before my birth and the sidgil inked into my skin has bee streched and faded so very much as I have grown" I explain

"Let me have a look I think i've eveen every robel sidgil this side of the sea" another girl smiled coming and sitting at my side as I washed clothes

"Uhhh... its green, what houses have green uhhh mormont?" she suggests

"No, I don't think so" I smile

"Uhh Stark have a bit of green in there?" she asks

"No I would remember if I was due to be a stark girl" I giggle

"Ohh house tarly they are green?" she suggests

"No, I know that is not right" I smile

"what shape is it?" a girl asks

"Uhh I think it must have been round originaly" she answered

"Round... martell?" a girl suggested

"No, we said green martell is blue" she answered

"It's green the yellow just makes it look blue" a girl giggled

"the boys of house martell are far to old for me, my family would not have promised me to a house like that" I answer

"I got it" a girl smiles bouncing her baby on her lap "green background, round, House reed the symbol of the black lizard Lion licking its own tail" she explained

"House reed, it rings a bell to me" I smile

"Well its not a large house hardly anyone remembers they exist really other then being all friendly with house stark" one girl laughs rocking her baby softly

"Well who are they?" I ask her as I wash the clothes

"Well theres the main lord but he's way to old to have anyone promised to him, theres then the daughter Meera Reed and then her brother Jojen" she explains

"Jojen?" I ask

"yeah thats there boy I think-" she began

"Girls! come on we need you out here" the master says so most of them all left again I finished up my work and quickly put myself to sleep in hope I would get a green dream tonight as I faded into my sleeping state I found myself in a dark misted forest

"Jojen?" I call "Jojen!" I call again but I heard a growl I turned and saw a diewolf sat growling at me I quickly got up and began to run though the misted trees and it began to chase after me I kept tripping down falling over branches hidden by the mist

"Y/n?" I heard a familiar voice ask I turned and saw jojen so I ran into his arms "Whoa what's the matter?" he asks

"A wolf was chasing me" I tell him

"Ohh... well there is nothing there now?" he says letting me see and it was gone "What are you doing here?" he asks

"I- I needed to talk to you, wait what are you doing here?" I ask him "I've finished all my work how are you already asleep?" I ask him

"Honestly? I feel asleep in the bath" he shrugs "But what did you need to talk to me about?" he asks

"You remember I told you about a sidgil I had tattooed on my arm when i was little?" I ask

"Yeah? what about it?" He asks

"and you remember you told me your father had arranged some girl to be your wife but you have no clue where she is?" I ask

"Yeah? what is this about y/n?" he asks

"I think I am the girl, and I think the mark on my arm is house reed" I tell him

"Really?!" he asks a little excited so I moved down my shirt and showed him my arm "Give me a minuet darling" He smiles giving me a tiny kiss before he went off back so I sighed and went back to my work as I woke up I sat doing my work for a good long while till I heard strange sound and the master came though to me

"Miss y/n, follow me please" He says

"I don't work out there no matter the cost" I tell him

"you wont come on" He says so I sigh following him out though the whore house till I saw a man stood with some paperwork

"Hello My lady" he says

"who are you?" I ask him

"A loyal man from the grey water watch my lady I have come with a order from Lord Reed you are promised to his son jojen I have come to take you to the watch" He says handing the paperwork to the master and he sighs

"Get your things Y/n" He told me so I smiled going to the room getting all my stuff gathering everything I have into my little bag this man took me out to a horse I got on and he got on another and he began leading me off into the dark...

"Miss y/n, I present you to my son Jojen reed" he smiled to me handing my hand to jojen

"Hi y/n" he smiles giving my hand a kiss

"Hi jojen" I giggle giving him a little kiss

"I'm happy your finally here with me" He smiles hugging me tightly
