The metal door creaked open, revealing the narrow tunnel beyond. I stepped through beside Bellamy, our boots echoing on the cold concrete. Octavia was the first I saw. Her eyes met Bellamy's, relief crashing into her, and she threw herself into his arms.
That's when I saw Clarke. Her face was pale, strained, but the moment her eyes landed on my, they softened.
She walked straight toward me, kneeling slightly to meet my height. "I'm glad you're okay," she said gently, brushing a strand of hair from my face after pulling me into a hug.
I offered a small, tired smile. "Where's my brother?"
Her expression faltered for half a second. "He's with my mum. He's safe."
I exhaled through the weight in my chest, needing to believe her. Needing it to be true.
Then Octavia pulled me into a tight hug. Her hands trembled slightly, and I felt her steady her breath against the top of my head. "You scared the crap out of me," she whispered. "Don't do that again."
We were interrupted by a frantic beeping. I turned to see Jasper rushing toward Maya, panic written across his face.
"Thirty minutes," he said breathlessly. "We just changed it. That can't be right. Uh- Uh- It's her last tank."
"Okay, we'll find you another one," Clarke promised quickly, but her voice lacked its usual confidence.
"All the supplemental oxygen is on Level Five," Maya said, her voice steady despite the ticking clock on her life.
"Then we have to get you to Level 5," Jasper insisted.
"5 isn't safe for any of us," Maya reminded him.
"We'll take the trash chute again," Jasper offered quickly. "It'll work."
"To get in maybe," Bellamy said grimly. "But Maya's right, every soldier in this mountain is there. We'll never make it out."
He was right.
"We can do this," Jasper said, more to himself than to any of us. "We'll split up."
"Okay," Octavia said, stepping forward without hesitation. "You guys go for Dante. We'll help Maya."
She reached for her blade, and the others followed her lead back into the halls of Mount Weather.
And just like that, we were moving again.

I went with Clarke, Bellamy and Monty. We made our way through dim corridors until we reached the quarantine room. Clarke told me that's what it was, but to me it looked like a white box designed to break your mind.
