Thursday rolled around along with a massive migraine. I didn't think anything of it though as I made my way down to breakfast.

When I walked in, my head started throbbing. The noise and the lights made my head feel like it was going to spontaneously combust. I walked slowly toward Layla and sat down. I pressed my head against the table, thankful for the second of darkness.

I sat up and saw Layla look at me, a little worried. I sent her a small smile that said I was fine, and focused on not dying. As Zagan walked in he grinned at me and kept walking. I was confused momentarily until I was handed my plate of breakfast. It was blueberry pancakes, one of my favorites. I laughed a little then stopped, digging into my first pancake.

As I was leaving breakfast to head to the library, a hand slipped into mine and started dragging me off. "Hey, what's going on?" I looked over frantically, momentarily forgetting about my headache, a little adrenaline kicking in. My moment of shock was over when I saw who it was. "Z, let go of me. Where are we going?" I whined as he led me farther down the hallway.

"No, and we're going on a date if that is okay." I nearly rolled my eyes.

"You usually ask for a date, not just drag someone off but sure. I've got nothing better to do." He led me the rest of the way down the hallway and dragged me into the nearest room on the left. It was the movie room. "A movie date." I looked over at him as he slowly let go of my hand, as if I might run off.

"Yeah, is that okay?" He asked, blushing. I nodded slightly, the excitement taking my mind off of myself for a second. I took a seat in our normal seats as he poured some popcorn into bags for us to eat on as we watched. "What movie do you want?" He held up the movies Beauty and the Beast and Hercules. We had a thing where we watched old movies from the American times and made fun of some of them.

"Hercules." He nodded and pressed play on the movie. We watched, making fun of how it wasn't even factual.

When it was over, the two of us laughed. I paused because my head, by this point, was throbbing. Zagan looked over at me concerned. He had stopped laughing too. "Is this about Sunday?"

I tried my hardest to hide the fact that my head was pulsing and answered, "No, but on that topic. Sorry, I forgot how awkward that would be."

"It wasn't a problem." He looked down at the floor like a hurt puppy which I took as the fact that he was lying.

"You're lying. It bothered you, and I'm sorry, there is nothing between us. We're just friends. Sorry if I made you feel any different. I really like you, Z, and there is no one else I would rather be with." I meant it. It wasn't just to make him feel better. I had decided that if I had a selection like them, I would have never found someone to love. The only person that I could like as more than a friend was Zagan, and I just had to hope that he liked me back.

His eyes raised a little and he muttered, "Yeah.." I didn't catch the rest.

I sighed and said, "I should get to lunch, I've got stupid dance afterwards." He grinned a little as I turned away from him and began to walk away. Before I even reached the door, his hand had slipped back into mine.

"Shouldn't I escort you, Lady Victoria," I audibly groaned and slapped his shoulder.

"You know I hate titles," I grumbled, walking out of the movie room, him standing right beside me.

"Yeah, I do," He murmured.

We walked the rest of the way in silence. Before I walked into the dining hall, he leaned over and kissed my hand, "Until next time," He said, hopefully.
