Into The Abyss: Dyrroth X Selena MLBB story

Handsome Guys

It's been four days since the last time Selena had taught something to Dyrroth. Every time Selena would sit on her throne Dyrroth would be waiting to ask what will they do next. She would only say to him to wait for the Dark Lord's command for her next move.

Dyrroth apparently got bored. Even though watching Selena devouring souls each day was amusing to him, he always wanted more to be done.

Even though he was tired of being dormant, Dyrroth never asked to leave. He thought the Lord of the Abyss was really testing his patience.

Selena stayed inside her cave like place and took her time brushing her hair using a comb made from a demon's spine. She was humming softly nearly done with her hair routine.

"I wasn't aware that you know how to sing..."

Selena quickly turned around and saw Dyrroth standing by her doorway smirking at her.

"I was just humming-and also, I wasn't aware that you're allowed in here, " replied Selena.

"Is there any reason for me not to be?"

"This is my area, you have yours. If you wanted for us to talk, you could've waited for me outside."

"But I'm here already, what's the difference?"

"What do you want?"sighed Selena.

"Any plans for today?"

"No, if I already had, I could've told you already. The Lord of the Abyss has said nothing yet. I've sent Byssy to scout around the abyss if your conflict is still enraging."

"Byssy? That's the name of your demon?"

"I only call it by that name sometimes."

"You know what, let's do something off the charts."

"Elaborate..."

"What do you usually do before I encountered you?"

"Nothing much. The other things are none of your business."

Dyrroth sat on the edge of Selena's bed.  Selena was raising her caution to whatever might he do.

"Let's fight. Just for fun." suggested Dyrroth.

"I don't fight for fun. If I fight I'd always go for the kill unless of course I wanted to play with my preys. I'm not a fighter like you. I'm a warrior with a heart like the Abyss." concluded Selena.

"Perhaps this heart also loves something else to do."

"Love? I only know one thing about that. I love the feeling of tearing enemies to shreds. Other than that, I don't know. Creatures here are only filled with wrath and hatred. The Abyss can never have that love."

"Why not? Haven't you received one?"

"Have you? "

"Back then, I was clueless and fragile until Alice and Thamuz showed me my purpose. I've felt something, it felt like love. It's unexplainable. The love here in the abyss is different."

"So you're saying that what kept me honored by the Lord of the Abyss and the Abyssal Dominator is love? Pretty much makes sense." Selena applauded.

"You said that creatures here only have hatred and wrath. Let me remind you that we are not like them. We are something else Selena. We are more. We could do more things, we could feel more than they do. It's not just up there who can have love...down here too."

Dyrroth moved closer beside Selena moving his face closer to hers.

"So tell me, would you allow me to show you what love is? "

Selena held her breath trying not to blush. Dyrroth was staring at her eyes deeply slowly going for her hand.

She couldn't take it anymore, she pushed him away and moved back keeping her distance.

"What are you trying to do Dyrroth?! Are you out of your mind?!" shouted Selena.

"Why? You don't like me?"

"I only have time for some handsome guys..." she said crossing her arms.

"Have you met one? "
"Well-"
"Am I handsome?"        "Yes but-"

They looked at each other, Dyrroth was already smiling trying not to crack up after his trick to Selena. Selena stood and quickly went towards the doorway but he blocked her way completely.

"If only Byssy was here-"

"Admit it Selena. You find me attractive."

"No, you're not attractive! You wouldn't just let me finish my sentence. Now let me pass!"

"Am I not handsome for you? "

Dyrroth was persistently stopping Selena from getting out. He was getting tired of her stubborn acts when he lifted her chin to meet his eyes.

"Am I not handsome for you? "

He said it again, this time his voice was a lot more calmer and he was really serious.

Selena took a breathe seeing how desperate Dyrroth seemed to be just to hear her answer. She calmed down and sighed trying to look away as she spoke.

"Not in the way I wanted...but you'll do."

Soon after hearing her words, Dyrroth smiled a little.

"Now get out!"

Selena began pushing Dyrroth away who instantly went to hold her forearms as she aggressively, but also in a cute way, moved him out. She quickly reached for her drapes and hung it to cover the doorway.

Dyrroth walked away still bringing the smile with him as he recalled the moments earlier. His smile vanished after sensing something close by. He looked around trying to see some movements. He was sure it wasn't a demon lurking somewhere. He walked a little further to cover more area until the presence disappeared.

When everything seemed to be normal again, Dyrroth went back and entered his place and laid on his bed with his hands placed behind his head.

A shocking day it is.
