Into The Abyss: Dyrroth X Selena MLBB story

Still there was no word coming from the Lord of the Abyss. Dyrroth  enjoyed teasing Selena that the only thing that could stop him was her demon.

Selena couldn't help herself but smile and blush, she would cover her face and act annoyed but deep inside she was already screaming.

I like it when she does that. Dyrroth thought.

Selena just finished with her daily soul devouring when Dyrroth came to approach her once more.

"If you're going to flirt with me again, please stop it. I need a break..." Selena said.

"Break? But we're not even together yet! " replied Dyrroth.

Selena answered him through her poker face. She was really done.

"Just bluffing. I'm actually going to ask permission to leave your lair and wander around the abyss."

"What for?"

"Visit Alice and Thamuz...?"

"You don't have to leave this place just to see them. If they really wanted to see you, then they should've given effort to go here. Also, how many times I've told you? You cannot-"

Selena froze and gasped. The abyssal demon encircled her sensing something which also alerted Dyrroth. He was curious and concerned at the same time that he started to walk slowly towards her.

Selena quickly gave her demon a glance and looked back to Dyrroth. With her demon on her back, Selena walked towards Dyrroth leaving a foot distance. Dyrroth and Selena stared at each other in a straight level for they had the same height.

"I believe that the Lord of the Abyss just spoke to you," he said softly.

"He did. I'm quite surprised about it." she replied.

"I'm listening."

"The Lord of the Abyss was astonished by your competence to gain his approval. Not to mention your efforts for...consorting me, which he unexpectedly liked. Moving on, the Dark Lord seems to be questioning about your motives..."

"Hah-motives for the abyss or motives for you?"

"Your true motives. He doesn't wish for any answer yet he requires actions. He entrusted me to be other judge. I want for you to remember that I hate sneaky snake like people. I don't want anyone to sneak up on me. You, are you one of those snakes?"

"Of course not. I may have a tail but that doesn't mean badly."

"I can never know, we all have secrets inside. We all hide into something..." Selena said as she raised her left hand and started playing with her magic,"...you should start revealing them, you cannot hide from me. There's no secret that cannot be revealed."

Selena swiftly released the magic she built up towards her left letting out a large abyysal arrow onto the shadows.
Suprisingly, it seemed that she hit something.

"How long have you been there, Moskov?" she asked.

Moskov finally came out from the dark gathering up his strength after being stunned by Selena's infamous trick.

"Enough to see everything, " he replied.

Dyrroth also noticed the same presence before. He finally found out who was watching them.

"For sure, Alice sent you here. What did she wanted? Why can't she face me? Look Dyrroth, just as I've told you, Alice really fears me."

"She sent me to keep an eye on you."

"To whom? Me or Dyrroth. Let me guess, she actually said to watch over Dyrroth while you took the chance to watch over me? But it could be possible for her to ask to keep an eye on me too. Isn't that right?"

Something's going on between this two. Dyrroth thought.

"So what Selena, I can't see you anymore? I still care you know! "

"Well guess what, I don't anymore. Now go back to your mistress and tell her she can't sneak up on me."

"Is that it?  Is that how you treat me?"

"A fair treatment for someone who easily gave up."

Selena quickly took Dyrroth's arm and wrapped hers around it. Moskov saw what she did and this made him really uncomfortable. Dyrroth's eyes widened to his surprise, he was trying not to smile but to remain his serious look instead.

"I have a guy now, " she bragged.

"Guess I've wronged you..."

Moskov had the sad look in his face as he left the area. Even though he had already vanished from their sights, Selena was still clinging onto Dyrroth.
Dyrroth noticed Selena was enjoying his arm quickly shown by his smile.

"You can let go of me now," he said softly.

Selena felt going back to the reality. She let go of his arm like she was disgusted and went on her way back to her room. When she was half way near, she stopped.

"By the way, the Lord of the Abyss granted you his permission to leave my quarters. However, you must return immediately not exceeding the time of 12 hours."

"Seriously? I'm more thrilled when it's the Dark Lord who actually granted that leave. So can I leave now? "

"Of course."

"Are you sure you'll not get mad if you miss me? "

"Come on, JUST LEAVE! "

Dyrroth ran as fast as he could leaving Selena back in her lair. He ran away still carrying the smile on his face.

"Finally some break!" Selena sighed.

As Dyrroth ran, he was thinking whether to go back to his throne or go somewhere else. Yet the thought of Selena was also coming into him.

What else can I do to win her heart? he asked to himself.

He stopped. He tried to decide what to do, he cannot waste the time given to him. Just when he moved his sight towards his left, from the distance, he saw the entrance towards the Necrokeep.

"This better be a good idea."
