Meet Again

Those scarlet glowing eyes were only focused on Dyrroth.

"I know who you are. You've been preying here since then, wounding elves, soldiers, and even my friends!" Harith shouted as he pointed Selena.

"Get out of MY WAY!" she replied.

Selena grasped for Dyrroth but Harith was slowing her down.

"Run Dyrus! Let me take care of this!"

Dyrroth took the chance to escape, he knew that his time for turning back to his demon form would be anytime soon. He found a good spot to hide and checked his hourglass just in time to see the last particles of sand falling as his time ended.

It was still painful returning to his demon form, however it was lesser. Dyrroth removed the clothing from him and hid them behind the bushes.

He went on his way back towards where Selena and Harith was although he felt another presence with him yet as he looked around there was nothing.

He didn't waste his time and ran towards a good spot to see what was happening.

Selena was having troubles catching the leonin. He was too fast and too noisy.

"You can't catch me!" Harith giggled.

Morphing back to her elven form and back to her abyssal form was consuming much of her mana. She knew that the boy was just playing with her. Selena was getting tired because of fighting for more than an hour but she couldn't just show it. She must hold on.

Just then swiftly flying blades cut Selena but it was shallow. The infamous flying assassin named Fanny came with reinforcements.

One bullet then the other, Selena tried dodging them but endes up struck by the sixth bullet. She was already exhausted filled with cuts and bruises.

"I told you we'll come for you," said Fanny.

Tge greatest heroes of the Moniyan Empire rallied towards the location to help Harith. Alucard, Tigreal, Granger, Fanny, and Harith surrounded Selena.

"So you're all going to fight against me? Isn't that a bit unfair?" Selena said with her small giggles.

"This is to stop the massive killing you have caused to the empire and the allied forces of the Enchanted Forest. Surrender or you'll perish, " declared Tigreal.

Selena laughed out loud and quickly transitioned to her deadly aura. She let an abyssal arrow out hitting Fanny and she transformed into her demon form. She dashed towards Fanng who was still stunned however she was blocked by Tigreal and pushed her away with his shield. Selena now then focused on her defense and paid attention with every ability they would use.

Dyrroth felt uncomfortable watching Selena fighting alone. He wanted to do something but a part of him also wanted for him just to watch.

Dyrroth then heard sounds of leaves when hit swiftly. He sensed the same presence earlier. This time he wouldn't let go of this. He remained still and tried to anticipate the next thing to happen. Suddenly a hooded woman appeared and swiftly using her tricks which surprised Dyrroth for him not able to lay two or three attacks to the woman. The enemy was swift enough to take out Dyrroth however Dyrroth's skills were just as annoying as he could be. The assassin was forced to retreat through the bushes and Dyrroth followed her. But within just seconds, the woman disappeared and Dyrroth lost her.

Dyrroth tried to look for the assassin but what he found were no other than Alice and Helcurt. They were looking for him.

"You should've told me that you were leaving, " said Alice in crossed arms.
