18 ; STUNG TO DEATH

I WAKE UP to a light sky with the well known melody, showing the fallen Tributes from Day 2. That's when I realize where I have been hiding. I almost falling down the large tree while the faces of the fallen Tributes light up the entire arena.
The tree cracks lightly and looses some of it's leaves, thanks to my heart attack. Suddenly voices appear below me down on the ground.
"Look who we have here, none other than lover girl!" I automatically recognize the voice. It's Cato's sadistic District partner, Clove.
"Let me kill her!" Glimmer screams excitedly. This girl has to be on some heavy stuff.
I quickly shift around, trying to climb higher up the tree.
"Try a shot, blondie!" Marvel joins in and looks up into my direction, that's when I spot Cato beside him.
He looks frustrated at me and I can just return the feeling, what was I thinking falling asleep up here right next to the Cornucopia?
Glimmer points her bow at me before releasing an arrow. She misses, like I knew she would when I saw her training at the Training Center. She groans in frustration before trying another shot, but Cato stops her.
"Don't waste another arrow on her."
The tall, muscular guy steps forward and looks up at me. I bite down on my lip while I cling to the tree. My heart beats so loud I could swear the Careers can hear it down there.
"She has to get down sooner or later. She's all yours when she gets here." Cato points to Glimmer before sitting down on the ground. Glimmer just claps into her hands before sitting down next to Cato, following his orders like a lost puppy.
