❛What was that all about? He clearly wants to be to disliked, doesn't he? ❜

THE LAST FEW days have been the same really. Me and Peeta went to the training center every day and we still followed Haymitch's order to avoid showing our skills to the other tributes. I didn't go up the roof top to avoid Cato as much as I could but the boy from District 2 still won't leave my mind.
He has been watching me every day in training, now and then trying to catch me without Peeta to talk about what happened the last time we were up the roof top but Peeta didn't leave my side once, which I'm really thankful for.
Today is the day for the private session. After a period of time, we, the tributes show the Gamemakers what we are capable of, choosing a particular skill we're excel at, and then we are scored from 1 to 12, 1 being very low and 12 being almost impossible to achieve.
I have been thinking a lot about the private session and what kind of skill I should show them. I decided to go for archery but with a twist to stay out of the other tribute's target.
Me and Peeta arrived once again too late, all of the other tributes already standing in a line, waiting for their turn. I met Cato's eyes once but quickly turnt my attention to Peeta who's standing right in front of me.
But then the blonde District 2 tribute suddenly stands next to us with a thiny paper slip in his hands. Peeta stands protectively in front of me, looking up at Cato since he's a bit taller than my district partner.
"Get out of the way, twelve." Cato glared at Peeta with his cold blue eyes. I studied the boy's features for what felt like the thousand time. His jaw is clenched in anger while his eyes flicker representing his emotions clearly.
Peeta turned his head to look at me, asking if it's alright and I just nod, clearly intimidated by Cato. "What is it?"
The boy moves towards me and hands me the paper slip without a word before grinning narcissistic. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion before opening the paper slip, reading the handwritten note.
Meet me at 10 pm on the roof top, promise I will be better this time.
C.
"See you around, twelve." Cato said in his typical confident voice, bumping awarely into Peeta. The blonde boy from twelve just huffed as he turns to me. "What was that all about? He clearly wants to be disliked, doesn't he?"
I just nodded before putting the paper slip into the pocket of my training clothes.
"What did he want?" Peeta asked suspiciously.
