Back to the story x
Michael P.O.V
I watched as Ashton dragged his dead father and Kevin to a closet. He told me that Calum was safe and I was more than happy about that but I couldn't smile.
Luke was dead.
He finally unwrapped me from the chair and as soon as I was free, I embrace my best friend into a hug. I thought he would've pushed away but he didn't. He hugged me back tightly.
And cried his heart out.
"H-he g-gone." He cried. I just nodded and held him.
"It's okay Ash. He's safe now." I said and Ashton then let go and went to a lifeless Luke.
He held him close as he cried. I did too. Luke was gone. We couldn't save him. We didn't.
"Ashton...we must go now." I said. He nodded and continued to cry as he laid Luke down.
"FREEZE POLICE!" The S.W.A.T team busted in. I jumped and Ashton ran to my side. I'm guessing when they saw us..bloody, they softened.
"Guys, come with us." He said. I hugged Ash from the side as we walked to the door.
"He's dead." Ashton said to the officer.
"Ummm..I DONT THINK SO!" We heard another officer say to us. Ashton's face lit up as he rushed to Luke.
"WE HAVE A PULSE! GET THE MEDIC IN HERE NOW!"
I ran to Ashton as we held Luke's hand. He had a pulse. We didn't loss him just yet...
"Come on baby." Ashton kept saying over and over. The medic soon came and put Luke on a stretcher and to the hospital.
He had a pulse.
