Love is Only You

Chapter 12

          There was a knock on the door that woke Nancy up. She opens her eyes to see it was only 4 in the afternoon. She gets up and makes her way to the door only to reveal JooE and Ahin at the other side of the door.

"JooE? Ahin? What are you two doing here?"

"May we come in?" Ahin asked the younger girl softly, to which Nancy nodded. The two girls sat on the couch while Nancy went into the kitchen to get some snacks and something to drink.

"Did you just wake up?" JooE asked when Nancy returned to them.

"I took a nap, I didn't sleep well last night."

"Is everything okay?"

"Yes, but it was just one of those sleepless nights." Nancy sits down on the chair opposite to them. "If I had known you two were going to be here I would have been more prepared..."

"No, it's fine. We were just in the neighborhood and decided to drop by and say hello... So, hello." Nancy giggles as Ahin shakes her head in embarrassment from the lame joke JooE made.

"How are you Nancy?" Ahin asked.

"I've been good, can't complain." The two girls exchange looks before turning their attention back to Nancy causing her to become suspicious. "Uh... Is everything okay?"

"Fine!" JooE pinches Ahin secretly for her high and panicky tone. Nancy gives them a small glare, she didn't buy it.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah! Everything is fine, we-"

"WE KNOW YOU LOVE JA-" Ahin slaps her mouth shut while JooE hits the back of her head making her groan.

"Huh?" Nancy said in confusion. "What was that?"

"Nothing! Ahin was going to say that we know you love jajangmyeon, why don't we order some and watch some movies, isn't that right Ahin-ah?" Ahin nods furiously.

"Uh... Okay?" Nancy gets up from the couch. "I think I have a takeout menu in the kitchen, let me see. I'll be right back." She walks away and when she was far enough, JooE and Ahin releases a breath of relief.

"Seriously?"

"I'm sorry! She was giving us the "You're not telling me something" look, you know how scary she can be!" Ahin whisper yelled.

"You're such a wimp." JooE said hitting the back of her head gently.

"Stop hitting me! I'm telling Hyebin unnie!"

"Hey so I ordered us some food, what movie do you guys want to see first?" Nancy said walking out and back into the living room. "Sorry, did I interrupt anything?"

"Not at all, we were just discussing about what movie we should watch, weren't we?" Ahin nods but doesn't say a word.

"Right... So, the first movie?" Just as they were about to say something, Nancy's phone goes off. She smiles at the contact name before putting it on speaker. "Hello?"

"Munchkin! Where are you?" Nancy lets out a gummy smile as she hears her best friend's voice.

"I'm at home unnie, JooE and Ahin came over to hang out, say hi to them!"

"Hi unnie!" Both JooE and Ahin said happily into the phone.

"Hi girls! Didn't expect you two to be with Nancy. I was hoping to get some one on one time with my best friend." A blush appears on said girls face. JooE and Ahin share a secret smirk before looking back at Nancy.

"Why don't you come over unnie? We can all hang out!" Ahin said suddenly.

"Oh I wouldn't want to impose-"
