Chapter 18

    "Are you ready to go home?" Beam asked as he walked back into the room. He had just checked Forth out and was so ready to be back in their own bed with him.

    Forth smiled wide and nodded. He kissed Beam's forehead and caressed his cheek. "I'm so ready."

    Beam laughed and grabbed the things Forth wasn't allowed to carry.

    He was on strict medicine and strict weight carrying limit.

    He had two cracked ribs and a broken wrist so there wasn't much he could really do.

    He had spent a total of twelve days in the hospital so he was feeling a lot better, but if he moved the wrong way, it would definanlty bring him to his knees.

    No had heard from Toei since the accident either. She returned the key to Beam via email and wasn't answering her texts or calls.

    Beam was more then relieved she was gone.

    When the reached the apartment, Forth sat down on the bed while Beam made him a small snack.

    When Beam came back into the room, Forth was holding a tiny velvet box in his hand.

    Beam took a deep breath and felt his heart speed up.

    He knew exactly what that box was.

    "F-Forth?"

    Forth looks up from the box and smiles wide. He pats the bed for Beam to sit down. Beam obeys.

    "There is something I've been meaning to do for quite a while now." Forth says with a nervous chuckle.

    "I know." Beam admits.

    Forth stares at him confused. "How do you know?"

    "I found the ring one night." He admits quietly.

    "Why didn't you ever say anything?"

    "I figured you wouldn't want me to, or maybe you had changed your mind and you aren't going to."

    Forth grabs both sides of Beam's face and pulls him in, connecting their lips for a kiss.

    It wasn't a passionate kiss, or just a simple peck. They just stayed there with their lips pressed together.

    When they pulled back theybrestes their foreheads together. Beam sighed deeply.

    "Ask me." Beam said smiling wide. Forth laughed.

    "Beam, will yo-"

    "Yes." He said before Forth could even finish asking.

    "You didn't even let me ask." He said laughing.

    Beam nodded. "Sorry. Do it again."

    "Beam, will you marry me?"

    Beam smiled wide and nodded his head like a maniac. "Yes, Forth. Yes I will marry you."

    He threw his arms around Forth's neck and squeezed him tightly.

    "Ribs." Forth said wincing.

    "Sorry." Beam said with a small giggle as he pulled back.

    Forth smiled and pulled the silver ring out of the box, sliding it on Beam's finger.

    Beam followed suit and placed the other ring in the box of Forth's finger.

    Beam kissed all over Forth's face making him laugh and try to push Beam away.

    Only this time, Beam was indeed stronger.

    They both laid back on the bed, smiling wide as they held each other's hand.

    "How long again until you can have sex?"

Thoughts on the final chapter?

I think this is the best way to end this story. It's a happy ending and everyone, besides Toei, gets what they want.

Is it bad that I've already been thinking of a sequel to this?
