Time skip to the Start of Summer
Summer was finally here and that means I can finally swim!
"I noticed we have a pool." I said to Toshi.
"Yeah you just noticed? It's always been here." She said.
"Yeah you really aren't observant at all." Said Rina putting her arm on my shoulder.
"Well now that you say it I guess."
"You only just proved my point." Said Rina laughing.
"So what's the point of it?" I continued. "Is it like for p.e. or something?"
"No it's for the swim club." Said Yumiko.
"We have a swim club?"
"Yeah its really small though." Then she stopped and thought for a second. "I think they have Haru, Makoto and 2 second years to be honest I can't remember their names."
"Makoto?" I said.
"Yeah, you know who they are right they're in our class after all."
"Yeah I do now. I think he lives near me I ran into him on my first day and I see him around my neighborhood a lot."
"Oh what happened?" chimed in Toshi.
"Nothing really I ran into him and I almost yell at him..." Toshi cut me off.
"Why would you yell at him!? He's literally the nicest person to ever exist!"
"Calm down Toshi!" Said Rina.
"Yeah chill people are stareing." I said.
"Dude you sound like an obsessive fangirl." Said Yumiko.
"Ummm yeah...oops.." she said slightly blushing.
"Anyway... you gonna join the swim club (y/n)?" Said Yumkio.
"Why me?"
"Half of the things you ever talk about is swimming and how your excited its Summer so you can swim."
"Honestly your starting to sound like Haru. You just need to eat mackerel." Whinned Toshi.
"How do you know Haru?" I ask.
He never really talked in class or to anyone except Makoto. So there's no way he would talk to the out going Toshi.
"Hes my cousin." She said sighing.
"Oh right I forgot about that." Said Yumkio.
"Why do you get the hot cousins?" Complained Rina.
"I have two reasons on why what you just said was A. Stupid and B. Dumb." Said Toshi annoyed.
"Arent A and B the same thing?" I said teasing her.
"Shut up." She said shoving me jokingly.
"But 1 why would you want a hot cousin you couldn't even date them. 2. Haru never talks and its awkward af to be in the same room as him. Our parents kept trying to make us bffs, but he never was intrested in anything but swimming and I could care less about it. His parents worry about him so they want me to hang out with him and make sure he's okay."
"Oh yeah true, but I mean you could always try and hook me up." Said Rina nudging her.
"Just stop it right now."
"Whatever..."
"So you gonna answer, (y/n) or are you going to let these two argue about Haru."
"Uhh, no I've never swam competitively, I would probably be the worst there especially since the clubs so small it probably has all really good people."
"I guess you are kind of right. Haru has basically won everything and its dumb because he doesn't even care."
"There is that glasses kid though, but he's improved a lot."
"Yeah see I'm good, I'm stick to swimming for fun, I just wish there was a proper place to swim at..."
Then I looked over at a guy with purple hair and glasses. He was talking to people about joining the club. He sounded a little desperate. Maybe if they were this desperate they would except me...
