Don't leave just yet

It's been over 3 month since kai and Jennie started dating . Today was the day they were supposed to get their results for their Universities. Jennie was beyond nervous but with the help of her friends she was able to deal with her nervousness

"Are you ready ?" Jisoo asked as she opened the laptop and typed with trembling hands

"I am " Jennie responded as she searched for her name

"Unnie! I got accepted " Sana said barging into the door

"Sana! We were just about to check my result " Jennie scolded "but congrats"

"Sorry unnie " she apologized and sat with the two girls

Jennies eyes widened looking at the screen Infront

"Unnie I got accepted in the university of france " she announced tears of joy escaping her eyes

"Really?! Congratulations " she said hugging her friend when a sudden thought came to her mind

"What about kai ? " Jisoo asked and jennie's smile soon disappeared

"I don't know I haven't told him yet but I'm sure we could work thing out " she replied

Kai would understand right?

"You guys were meeting tonight right? "She asked and Jennie nodded
"Why don't you tell him then I'm sure he would understand "

Jisoo suggested and Jennie regained her happiness

"Ma lady" kai said taking out his hand which Jennie took

"Wow kai! When did you prepare all of this ?"she asked amazed to see a picnic basket set up

I must tell him tonight

"Oh you know that day you said that you wanted to see the stars and I thought to make your dream come true " he replied patting at the space besides him

"Here for you " he replied giving her a necklace . She opened it , it had the picture of both them of the day he had confessed

It's going to be hard

The rest of the night was beautifully romantic . Kai decided to drop her back home

"Jennie , we're here" kai announced stopping the car "is everything okay?"

"Jongin -ah " Jennie began , it was the first time she called him with his real name and kai knew that it was something serious

"What is it Jennie ?" He asked concerned and worry visible in his eyes

"I got accepted into a university " she announced and kai sighed

"Gosh I thought it was something serious , congratulations babe " kai replied kissing her when Jennie stopped him

"It's in France" she uttered and he went back sighing again his hands on the steering wheel

"So you're gonna go to a country that's miles away leaving me ?" He asked

"I mean it is my dream and I was hoping you'd be happy for me " she whispered the last words

" I am happy for you Jennie it's just that I'm not ready to leave you yet you'll be over in a country that's so away leaving me all alone do you not care ?" He asked frustrated

" You think I don't ? I care about you alot " she replied and a sigh escaped her mouth

"Let's take a break " she announced

"A break ? " He asked again and Jennie nodded

"I can't believe you first you leave me to go to France then you want to take a break ? If that's what makes you happy then fine let's do this " kai said breaking a bit

The girl he loved so much wanted to leave him the pain was so much . Tonight was supposed to be their most beautiful memory not th emlst painful

Jennie stepped out of the car and went inside not looking back . She finally broke down when she sat down on the couch and saw the locket which kai had given her

I want to return to those times
