The lovers reunite

"Kai you're up next " the director yelled to the man standing near the window staring at the Polaroid in his hand

*Flash back *

"Hey you love birds come one let's take a picture " taehyung yelled gathering the group to take a picture together

"Let's meet up after we graduate alright?" Jin said and the group nodded in agreement . It was their last Christmas together before they graduated . Kai was listening to their bickerings when he was pulled closer

" Alright guys it's the mistletoe you now what to do " Sana pulled Jennie closer and wriggled her eyebrows. Kai pulled her waist and kissed her

"And that's a shot " jisoo chuckled taking the polaroid

*End of Flashback*

"What's on your mind jongin ? You were spacing out during the shoot " his manager asked worried about the model

Kai shrugged and ignored the question averting his gaze towards the window . Today was the day he had first confessed to Jennie . What was she doing right now ? Does she miss him ? Did she get married ?

These thoughts would flood his minds . Although it had been over five years he still can't seem to move over the girl that stole his heart . He would always check the news and would follow her every fashion update

It was raining heavily today and for some reason kai loved the rain it was soothing in way and it felt as if the sky was crying along with you ,not making you feel lonely

He reached his apartment and found someone famillair standing, waiting for him . His eyes widened in surprise

"Taehyung ! " He said hugging the male Infront

"It's been so long come on in " he offered

Taehyung stared at the coffee machine and then averted his gaze towards kai

"What ?" He asked as he poured some coffee

"You didn't reply " he replied shortly, pointing towards his screen which showed an invitation to his and sana's wedding

"Oh that, you already know the answer tae "he replied taking a seat on the couch with a mug of coffee in his hand

Taehyung sighed and pinched his nose in frustration . It was not the first time he had done something like this , kai even missed their high school reunion party because of the fear of meeting Jennie . Their break up didn't exactly end on good terms . The feelings were still there and he was afraid , afraid of falling in love. Again .

"Come on jongin you cannot waste your life like this you're coming and that's final " he stated and kai sighed knowing that he can't win against his best friend

"Fine but what about ....." He trailed and taehyung knew who he was asking about

"Jennie is going to be there Sana and jisoo are gong to invite her she's in Seoul for awhile for some new photoshoot " he explained and kai nodded

The bell ringed twice and the burnette stood up from her comfy sofa wearing her favourite designer pyjamas with a glass of juice in her hand

"Well who would think that you're the world famous designer , Jennie kim"  jisoo teased the girl Infront who looked practically homeless

"Shut up , come on in you two" she said inviting the two friends in her house

"Jennie you could've told us if you were here in Seoul, we got to know by some news outlet and not by our very own friend " Sana complained and jisoo nodded in agreement eyeing the girl infront

"Sorry guys I was busy with my new project but what brings you here ? " She asked and the two smiled looking at each other

"I'm getting married this sunday " Sana replied and jennie nearly spat her juice

"What ? Taehyung proposed to you ?" She asked bewildered at the announcement

Sana nodded and handed her the invitation which she was a bit reluctant to receive but later agreed to join due to the constant beggings
