The bouquet

Damn it ! These heels!

Jennie stared at herself in the mirror . It's been a while since she got dressed up for her self . It would always be either for some event or some dinner party if not that then she would be in her natural habitat - the sofa with a Bowl of potato chips in her hand binge watching kdramas

Her doorbell ringed suddenly and it was none other than hanbin . They had gotten closer after that airplane ride . He also happened to study at the same University and was now working with her

" Ready ?" He asked smiling showing his perfect teeth

" I sure am " she replied hoping in his car

Jennie decided to take hanbin as a date to the wedding. It would've been awkward Infront of kai if she went alone

"We're here " hanbin announced stopping the car infront of the wedding hall

"Glad you could make it " jisoo exclaimed hugging her friend but narrowed her eyes when they landed on hanbin . She eyed Jennie as if asking her to tell her about him

"Oh this is hanbin he works with me in Paris " she answered and jisoo pulled her aside

"Are you crazy ?  " Jisoo bursted suddenly making Jennie flinch at her sudden outburst

"What do you mean jisoo ? Did I do something wrong ?" She innocently asked and jisoo rolled her eyes

"Wrong ? Jennie, kai is going to be here . What will he think when he sees you with hanbin "

Jennie sighed and looked in her eyes

"Jisoo , we broke up remember he was the one who didn't support my decisions we're over "

Jisoo sighed knowing that it was impossible to fight with her. Maybe she would realise her feelings after meeting kai tonight

The two girls went outside to meet with hanbin when they saw him talking with some one his back was faced towards them

Hanbin saw Jennie and motioned her to come closer . The male turned his back and jennie's eyes  popped out of her sockets

"Jongin , she's my date " hanbin announced , Jennie hadn't told him Kai's real name maybe that was the reason they were talking comfortably

Kai looked at the two and smirked

"You two are a good match , when did you meet hanbin , miss Jennie Kim ?" He asked

Jennie shut her mouth knowing that he was mocking her

"We met on the flight from Seoul to Paris , she was depressed about some boy " hanbin explained and Jennie didn't make any eye contact with the male Infront but she could sense his glare towards her

"Well I can see you that you got over that boy of yours " he smugly replied and took a sip of his wine

Jisoo awkwardly laughed trying to lighten the atmosphere

"Come on Jennie it's the catch the bouquet ceremony " she announced and even after her constant begings she didn't budge and Jennie decided to give in

Sana threw the bouquet in the air . Hands were in the air of women desperately trying to catch the bouquet . Jennie who was completely unamused looked upwards and the saw the bouquet coming towards her . She flinched and almost tripped with the bouquet in her hands but was grabbed by two hands . She looked towards her sides and saw the two males -hanbin and kai holding her by the waist

Oh boy

The group looked at the three with a smug look on their faces while the guests smiled and clapped

Jennie immediately flushed a deep shade of red and stood up leaving the place and grabbing a glass of water to cool her down.  The rest of the evening she avoided kai as much as she could but it was impossible due to his constant starings

She left the venue after being a bit too tired . Upon reaching home she opened up an old dusty box filled with pictures and a necklace

Can't we return to those times?
