The flower has withered

Do you know the feeling when you feel as if your heart's about to burst open , you feel butterflies in your stomach , the nerve-wracking moment you call nervousness. That's what Jennie was feeling right now . Being in the car alone with your ex is not exactly what she had imagined this night to be like . Kai glanced at her direction trying to not smile at her nervousness , but he had to keep it cool , at least for tonight.

"Did you say yes?" He asked his hands on the steering wheel, his eyes with gleaming with hope. He noticed her confusion and continued

"To hanbin's proposal "

Jennie shook her head and kai let out a sigh of relief .

"Good "

"Where are we going ? It's not the way to my house " she asked

"Cause we're not going there , I'm going to take you somewhere " kai replied

He stopped besides the stairway and showed the guard some card .

She asked him again but all he did was give her a shrug

"You said you wanted to go here someday " he stated and as he pulled her closer into the view

She gasped looking around her but more importantly at the fact that he remembered . It was over five years ago that she said that she wanted to visit the Eiffel Tower during her entire stay in Paris she had visited it only thrice but with kai it was a bit special .

She muttered a small thank you and fastened her pace so that she was now besides him.

"You know I thought about it " he started " maybe I was a bit selfish about not letting you pursue your dreams "

She opened her mouth to speak but kai beat her to it

"But maybe I'm gonna be selfish again , I'll not him get to you "

She smiled and looked in his eyes

"I rejected hanbin " she spoke and his eyes widened and Jennie swore she could see a small smile

"Then maybe what I'm about to do next will not be that selfish " he said and before Jennie could ask anything he slammed his lips against her devouring the moment . The tower turned pink the night was shinning with stars and the wind was moving in rhythm, the moment was so special

"I love you " he whispered and before he could say something else she pulled back

After this time , she hurt him , she left him and found someone else her heart wanted him but she knew that she would be hurting the both of them , maybe this was the only way he couldn't be hurt again , he needs to find some on welded some one better and more capable of loving him

"I'm sorry , you need someone better please forget me " she spoke with tears in her eyes " our love has withered , I don't think that I deserve you "

Kai hugged her

"Shh don't say that you're the one I love "

She pulled back with tears in her eyes

"I'm going let's not meet again " she said and left hailing a cab and leaving for her apartment
