Sorry I know these are annoying right before a chapter but I can see that there's like confusion cuz honestly I'm confused myself from just reading the past chapters ... * inserts a laughing emoji because I'm on a computer *.

So Jia , Addy , and Melissa met in 4th grade and they became friends . Then so did Shawn and Taylor even though Shawn is a year younger than him because he's Melissa's twin . All that's in Indiana . Then Addy and Taylor's parents die when Addy is a sophomore and Taylor's a junior and Tony's in California so they go live with him because he's 23 at the time . Then Jia moves to California because her dads job needs him to be there . And in the second semester with Melissa things aren't going very well with her parents so they go live in Virginia where she meets Matt and they start dating . 2 months later they go live in California because her dad lost his job and he found one in Cali . Then a year later ( now ) Matt moves to Cali , meets Addy , and almost commits suicide and well it's present time . So I hope that cleared everything up and if you guys have questions I'll answer them ! Love you guys and here's Chapter 11 :*

" Addy are you okay ? " Melissa asked waving a hand in my face .

" Huh ? Oh , sorry I kinda zoned out a bit remembering the last time we saw Brent . I really don't want him to find me . Cameron needs to stay as far away as possible . He's a drug dealer just like Brent and their little gang . "

" Don't worry . With Taylor by your side , I doubt they'll come near you , " Melissa praised her boyfriend . Aka my brother . The one who teases me all the time but somehow manages to cover every stupid mistake I make . Same with Tony . I'm glad I have them as my brothers .

" Well yeah but keep in mind I'm not always with Taylor ," I said walking out of the elevator .

" True . Let's keep all this Brent and Cameron shit behind and enjoy today , " Jia said with a smile . She always finds the good side of things and tries to cheer me up . That's why she's like my big sister that I never had .

I got to the door of Matts room and told the girls to wait a second and ask him if they could come in . I found him asleep but once I walked in , he woke up .

" Did you bring me food ? " Was the first question he asked .

" Hi to you too . And no . Didn't Kristen bring you some like an hour ago ? "

" Um no . It was half an hour ago and I'm hungry . Feed me ," he said making a baby-ish pout .

" Well then you're fucked because we didn't bring any food," I said laughing at him .

" You suck ," He said playfully glaring at me and sticking out his bottom lip with his arms crossed infront of his chest .

" Haha ok . Hey can two of my friends come in ? "

" Yeah . Since I barely have any friends here maybe I can meet new people ," As he said that a sparkle apeared in his eyes and he smiled . The smile . That gorgeous smile that I've waited for so long to see , reappeared . I smiled at the ground and made my way to the door . I opened it and found the girls talking about something and they didn't notice I cam out .

" Dude it's Matthew Espinosa . Remember him ? My ex that I had to break up with because I moved here ? " Melissa told Jia .

" Oh ! That guy you were with when I skyped you on your birthday ? "

" Yes him ."

" OH shit let's see how this goes . "

" Hey Addy . Can we come in ? " Melissa asked . I nodded and opened the door further .
