Gerard was waiting for Bandit outside her school. They should've been released 30 minutes earlier from now but he haven't spot his daughter yet. Minutes later, his wife texted him, telling him that she already fetched Bandit because they've no class on their last class. Gerard was pissed at her for letting him wait in the cold for about half an hour, but he calmed himself and just walked back to the car and drove himself home.
On his way, he spotted a girl sitting on one of the swings on the playground. She's looking down, her hair and clothes were soaked with rain. He pulled over and decided to approach the little girl.
"Hi," he said and put the umbrella over the girl's head. When she looked up, Gerard stumbled back in surprise. The girl's face was covered with blood. She have a big cut on her head and a bruise on the corner of her lips. Gerard's fear was replaced with sympathy.
"Do you want me to take you home?" he asked.
"I don't have a home," she muttered. Gerard smiled at her.
"I'll take you to my home. My wife will treat your cuts, okay? Cmon," the girl followed Gerard to his car
"What's your name?" he asked.
"Lucy."
"So... Lucy, do you have a family?" Gerard decided to make a small talk. He glanced at the girl through the mirror.
"Had."
"Had... What happened?" he asked, his voice leaking with concern.
"They're murdered inside our house," she replied as if it's not a big deal.
"Oh. I'm sorry."
"Don't be. They deserve it." the girl snapped. Of course, Gerard was shocked and creeped out at the same time. He decided to drop the conversation and remained silent until they reached home.
As soon as they stepped inside the house, Bandit's eyes widened in excitement.
"Dinner time!" Bandit exclaimed.
Lucy was confused. Gerard is not carrying anything, neither does she. When realization hit her, it was too late. Gerard has this twisted look in his eyes and he hit Lucy's head with a hammer. His wife grabbed the feet and they both dragged the poor girl to their freezer, along with other bodies of their past victims.
