Every winter break, me and my friends will go on various adventures to fully enjoy the limited days without classes. This time, Leo organized everything for us. And guess what, he brought us to a fucking haunted house. Now, I'm slightly worried about Leo's sanity. He spent 5 thousand dollars for a stupid haunted house that we'll live in for a month. The idea of the whole haunted house thingy should've been exciting, except for the fact that Percy is a pussy and scared of ghosts and if it is an old house, there's a big possibility that there will be cobwebs and spiders. I'm not exactly the biggest fan of arachnids.

"Bitches we're here!" Leo exclaimed and I woke Percy, who seemed like in a deep slumber with my shoulder as his personal pillow.

"Wh-What? What's happening? Where am I? Who are you?" he mumbled while still looking as disoriented as ever. I laughed at him and kissed his forehead.

"We've arrived. We're in Jason's van and I'm your girlfriend." I told him as he ran a finger through his black hair.

"I know right. I've always wanted to do it, like on those movies." he shrugged and stepped out of the van.

"You're a dork." I laughed, but stopped immediately as I took in the cold surroundings. When my eyes landed on the hou- It wasn't a house. It wasn't a mansion. It's a freaking castle. Like the ones you see on the Disney movies, only a tad bit smaller.

Anyway, as soon as my eyes landed on the gigantic castle, I felt shivers ran down my spine. I had this strange feeling... Not a good one. It's like, the wind's telling me and apparently us to back off.

"Oh wow Leo, how the hell did you found this place?!" Jason exclaimed. Piper nodded in agreement and scooted a little closer to Jason.

"The house gives me creeps." she squeaked out.

"Now, don't be scared fellows. For Uncle Leo is here to save the day!" he exclaimed and threw his fist up in the air, while the four of us just rolled our eyes.

We lugged our belongings inside the house, and each chose our rooms. I insisted on sharing rooms with Percy because I'm scared of anything that might be in here. He told me it's fine, and that was all I needed.

Leo really had all of this planned out. All the necessary supplies are here, along with a few good furniture. The house is also clean and practically dustless, and Leo guaranteed me that there are no cobwebs or spiders in here.

Our first days inside the house is okay. On the fourth day, we did a little exploring around the house. I mean, they did. I stayed in mine and Percy's room because I felt nauseous. I don't understand why I'm the only one feeling this. It felt like someone's here with us... watching our every move...

"Why are you not eating? You're not fat." Percy frowned and I had to smile because his adorableness.

"I just don't have the appetite, Perseus," I assured him. He shrugged and went back on stuffing his face with the chicken. I, however, was still bothered by this strange feeling and that didn't boost my appetite.

After dinner, I was washing the dishes when Jason walked in the kitchen. It was only around ten, but everyone is already fast asleep because of the tiring day. Jason stayed up because his bitch of a History teacher gave him a ton of assignments to work on so he'll have something to do on break.

Like, are you fucking serious? Do you know what a break is, or do I have to demonstrate it on your neck?

"Hey beth." I gave him a small smile and went back on scrubbing the stains off the dishes. Jason awkwardly cleared his throat, and sat on one of the chairs.
