Annie's P.O.V.
Okay so it's been about a month and a half since I started pen paling or however you say it and I figured out that this guy is a total douche. He's very self-absorbed, annoying, and just a little bit funny.
But he straight out told me that he likes pissing me off and tried to get under my skin and for a few weeks it really bugged me but now I find it amusing.
He also gave me his number because in his words, not mine, 'I can't wait a whole day without getting a response from you' which was kinda sweet but he saved himself by say that it was mostly because he wanted annoy me 24/7 which was more believable.
He also came up with the very creative nickname for me as Dork. And I came up with an equally creative nickname for him, Jock. But yeah so now he calls me randomly at 1am and we talk for hours about the stupidest stuff but I kinda like it.
I haven't told the girls about him but Lilia suspects that something is up so I gotta make sure I don't leave my phone on around her or everything would get out.
Right now it's 12:30 at night and me and Hayley are still up. We're in her room playing Uno on her bed. I'm down to one card which is a yellow 7 and the color is yellow now so I got pretty good chances.
Hayley put down a blue 3. Shit. I totally jinxed it. I annoyedly looked up at her and she just smiled.
"Oops." She said.
"You're not gonna win." I said.
"We'll see. Just play your card." She said smiling.
I picked from the pile and it was a red 8 and I just rolled my eyes and picked two more times before I got a blue 5 and I put it down.
I looked to see that she only had two cards left and when she put down a blue card she said, "Uno." And smiled.
Okay, Julianna you are good, it is only a game and this is you little sister who you can't beat the shit out of.
Do I have problems? Yes.
Am I dealing with it? No.
Is that fine? Yes.
Do I talk to myself too often? Yes.
Am I gonna stop anytime soon? No.
"Annie, you gonna go or not?" Hayley asked snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Yeah, right right." I said shaking my head and picked up a card. Then another one and another and another until I have a whole bunch of green cards.
"Seriously? Who shuffled these?" I asked rolling my eyes.
"You did." She smirked.
"Yeah, yeah." I said and put down a card.
"And I win." Hayley smiled and then started jumping up and down on her bed.
"Yeah, whatever. You have to sleep now. You've got school tomorrow." I said gathering all the cards and tucked her in.
"Goodnight Hay, see you in the morning." I said and kissed her on the forehead.
"Night Anns, I love you." She smiled.
"Love you more." I said and turned off her lights.
"Not sure if that's possible." I heard her mumble making me smile as I closed her door.
I walked into my room and lied down on my bed and closed my eyes and was almost asleep when I heard buzzing. I just groaned and grabbed my phone and swiped not even looking to see who it was.
"What?" I mumbled.
"I've got a question for you." He said and I smiled a little.
"Okay, get on with it." I said and kept my eyes closed.
"So what does the expression 'don't let the cat out of the bag' mean?" He asked and I rolled my closed eyes.
"Is the seriously the most important question you need to ask at this time?" I asked yawning.
"Yes, and what do you mean 'at this time'? We've talked later then now?" He said.
"Yeah, but I was playing uno until just a few minutes ago and do you know how stressful that game is when you're playing against an 11 year old genius." I said a little pissed.
"Okay, you got some problems." He said chuckling.
"And you're just now figuring that out? I thought you were smarter then that."
"Really? You did?" He asked kinda happily.
"Nope, just wanted to make you feel better about yourself but you just had to go and ruin it." I mumbled.
"Do you really think I need to feel better about myself?" He asked and I just know he was smirking.
"With that attitude I'm gonna said no." I giggled.
"That's correct, so you are smart."
"Yes, but are you is the real question."
"I think so." He said.
"Then why ask questions about expressions that you don't really need to wonder about?" I asked.
"Because where is that cat and the bag. And why is it in a bag?" He asked starting to get annoyed.
"Why the fuck is that a question you need an answer to anyway?" I asked tiredly.
"Because, I have a lot of curiosity. Which also brings me to wondering who you are." He said.
"Mm-hmm." I said nodding honestly not listening that much because I'm exhausted.
"So you ever gonna let me see you?" He asked and I shrugged forgetting that he couldn't see me.
"I don't know about that." I said bitting my lip.
"Come on, how about tomorrow after lunch at the end of the science hallway?" He wondered.
"You can't be serious." I groaned.
"What's the harm?"
"I guess nothing." I mumbled and then I don't remember what happened after that.

I'm excited for school tomorrow except that my math teacher said that we were gonna start fractions and just let me tell you that I thought once you get to 10th grade you grow out of fractions but apparently not.
There, done with my little rant.
Love you all💜🦔🌻
