Annie's P.O.V.

When I sat down in history the next day I was met with a little surprise. Someone had responded to my little statement I wrote on the desk.

I wrote 'Fuck this school!' And they responded with 'What's got you in such a pissy mood?'

I definitely did not expect some to really see this or even give it another thought.

So I wrote back 'It's pretty obvious.' And then put my books on top of it.

The day went on normally but my mind kept on going back to whoever wrote back to my little statement and who they were.

It's probably someone who is in Varley's class and sits at me desk in any periods after 2 which would make sense.

I don't know. I mean it's kinda cool. It's like having a pen pal who lives on that same town as you and goes to the same school with the same teachers.

Okay I don't know what to call it but it's something interesting going on in my life for the first time.

I wonder if they will write back too. A part of me hopes that they would but the more rational part of me knows that they wouldn't.

Anyway after school I have dance practice which is out on the field that is in the center of the track which is good because our warm up is a half of a mile.

I changed into my grey Attaway t-shirt, black leggings, and my white vans and walked out to the field.

I saw that Anna and Sydney were already there stretching on the grass. "Hey, girls." I said sitting by them and started stretching too.

"Hey, did you see Lilia back up there?" Anna asked.

"Nope, she could still be changing." I said shrugging.

"Or sucking faces with Will under the bleachers." Syd said giggling.

"That's possible too." Anna said nodding with a smile.

After a few minutes we were going through our routine when we saw Lilia coming down the hill and over to us, "Sorry, sorry, sorry. I'm here."

"It's fine, how's Will?" Syd asked smirking.

"What do you mean 'how's Will?' Will who. Will Miller? How should I know?" She asked trying to play it off cool.

"We all know you like each other and have a little thing going on so you can just admit it." I said rolling my eyes.

"I don't know what your talking about." Lilia said smiling a little nervously.

"Okay, I guess we were wrong." Anna said putting her hands up. "Let's just practice."

"Hey, can I get a ride to the diner from someone?" I asked after we finished practice.

"Yeah, our workin' girl can't be late." Syd said putting her arm around me and rubbed my shoulder.

"Yeah, sure. So can you?" I asked.

"Okay, you guys wanna come to keep us company?" Sydney asked looking at the two of them.

"Sure, I got nothing to do. Plus I could practice my new color changing card trick." Anna said.

"And I could take some artsy pick of Annie working." Lilia said smiling.

"I wish I was as photogenic as Annie." Syd said.

"Are you kidding. Have you seen yourselves." I asked the three of them. "Come on lets go." I said rolling my eyes and went to the locker rooms.

When we got to the diner I went behind the counter and grabbed my apron. Anna, Syd, and Lilia sat at the counter.

"See, look how beautiful you are." Lilia said pulling out her camera and took a picture of me making me just roll my eyes.

"You can take pictures of me anytime you want. Preferably 2 am, my room, no clothes on." Some guy said leaning on the counter smiling down at Lilia.

Me, Anna, and Syd were all a watching Lilia and the blonde guy intently. "Is that so?" Lilia asked turning her head to look at him.

He was with none other then Asher Angel and another guy in the basketball team. But it wasn't Carson or Will the guys Asher usually hangs out with it was Trevor and I think the blonde's name it Cody.

"Yeah, and believe it or not I look even better in photos in the middle of the night then I do right now." He said smirking and put his hand on her's.

"One, don't touch me. And two I like to photograph beauty not whatever that is." Lilia said swatting his hand away and turned back towards us thinking/hoping he would walk away.

"Nah, you don't mean that." He said leaning towards her a little more.

"Come on man just lay off." Asher said behind him.

Yes, finally dickhead. Get your followers in order here bud.

"How about you tell me your pretty little name." The blonde said putting his hand on Lilia's thigh.

"Dude." Asher said taking a step forward. Lilia was hit with pure shock when he squeezed her leg.

Then out of no where Will came and threw a punch at him and then there was a full out fight happening with Will, Carson, Trevor, and Cody.

God why isn't someone doing something. What, I work here. Does that mean I'm responsible for this. I looked around and everyone was just watching the fight.

I looked at Asher and said, "Do something jackass."

We locked eyes for a second and the her went down and pulled Carson from the pile and then Asher grabbed Cody and Carson grabbed Trevor and forced them out of the diner.

Lilia knelt down to Will and helped him up. He had a bloody nose and a black eye. "Are you okay?" Anna asked her mouth open little.

"Uhh, y-yeah. I think so." He said and whipped the blood from his nose.

"I'll get you a towel." I said going to the back and grabbed a towel and dampened it a little with water. "Here." I said handing it to him.

"Thanks." He said with a weak smile.

"God, those guys are absolute cunts." Lilia said getting all fired up.

"Settle down there kid." Sydney said putting her hand on Lils shoulder but it didn't seem to help that much.

Annie and Asher finally "met" even though this is not really a 'finally' moment because this is the third chapter, but this is still a yay moment.

Except you know, Annie does not like Asher that much but still.
