ELENA, MATT, AND ARIA were at the hospital with Alaric. When they walked out of the room Matt was waiting for them. "How's Mr. Saltzman?" The boy asked. "Resigned to spending the night in observation, so as long as I promise to change the locks on the house. So I talked with Bonnie earlier. Her and her Mom are fine." Elena said. "Hey, are you sure you don't want to stay here? I can come grab you in the morning." Elena said. "No, I think I'll stay home tonight with you if that's okay." Elena nodded. "I'd feel safer if you did." They headed outside into the fresh air and to Elena's car. "Have you talked to Caroline?" Elena asked Matt.

"Yeah. She's holding it together considering how close she and her Dad used to be. Any word on who's behind all the attacks?" "No. Sheriff Forbes said that there's no suspects at all. How are you dealing with everything? I mean, you keep getting dragged into all of this."

"Honestly... I'm kind of lucky. The only thing I have to worry about tomorrow is showing up at the grill for my shift." "Thank you for everything today," Elena said. "Yeah, thanks, Matt." Aria said, smiling a little. "You guys know I'm here for both of you. Always." Aria nodded. "Get home Safe." "Thanks."

Matt headed to his car, and Aria watched him drive off. "Ready to go home?" Elena asked, as she went to her side door. "I think so. Hey, mind if we share beds like the old times?" Elena chuckled a little. "Let's get going then." They got in the car, and buckled themselves up. Elena backed out of the parking spot, and hit something hard like a boulder. "Ahh! What the hell was that?!" Aria gasped. "I don't know- I-"

The girls got out of the car and there was nothing behind them. "That was weird. There's nothing here-" Aria went to Elena's side and when they turned around to go back Rebekah was there. "Oh, shit," Aria whispered, feeling the hairs on the back of her neck stand up. "What? Drive much?" She snapped. The last time she saw the blond was homecoming. When Elena stabbed her in the back with the stake. Literally. This isn't going to be good.

"Rebekah..." Elena said. "Look, she didn't mean to. I know she's a bad driver and all-" Aria started. "Shut up!" The blond snapped. Rebekah gets a grip on Elena and wraps her hand around her neck, slamming her against the car. "Rebekah!" Aria yelled. "Stop it! Let her go!" "Surprised? You drove a dagger through my back, Elena. It hurt." She was about to sink her teeth into her until Elijah pulled her back slamming her on the ground. He pushed the girls behind him and Rebekah moved her blond hair away from her face. "Elijah," she breathed out.

"Leave." Rebekah looks at him. "Are you challenging me?"

"You're pathetic," she snaps. She looked at Elena.

"Both of you." She left, and Elijah turned to the girls.

"Well... I believe we have a little catching up to do."

"I guess so." Aria says, letting out a sigh.

Elena, Stefan, Aria and Damon were in the Gilbert's kitchen. "It was their mother Esther who was in that coffin," Elena told them. "As in the original witch?" Stefan asked. "What? How is she even alive? I thought that hybrid freak show of a son ripped her heart out years ago." Damon said. "Yeah, we all did," Aria said, looking at him. "I don't know. I'm guessing she has a couple connections in the witching community. Elijah said that she wants to live with her family in peace, including Klaus." "She was supposed to be the weapon to help us kill Klaus," Stefan said. "Yeah, well, not anymore. At least not according to Elijah," Aria said. "That coffin was the only thing stopping Klaus from tearing us to shreds."
