The next morning, I woke up leaning against the car seat. The sun that shined brightly penetrated through the car window made my hands covered my eyes.
I groaned as my muscles ached because of the intense running last night. Realizing that our car has been stopped in the woods, I looked outside the window and saw Joyce and Hopper talking.
I glared at the man whom I was handcuffed with as I rubbed my eyes. He was still asleep soundly with his curly hair falling over his forehead .
Then, i looked down at our hands to realize that he still hadn't let go of my hand. I smiled because at least, I could make him quite comfortable during this difficult time for him.
He shrunk a little bit by the sunlight as well and slowly opened his eyes which made them met mine.I'd not be able to care about my messy hair anymore and held up my hand in a waving position just to say "hey". He smiled at me and said something back in Russian. Maybe it's good morning or hi or something I presumed.
I sat up straight and to introduce, I pointed myself and said "Kim". He looked at me with his puppy eyes and repeated the word "Kim" with his thick Russian accent. "Yes!" I smiled brightly as I put my thumbs up. He also seemed satisfied that he got right . Then I pointed at him and he answered "Alexei", I repeated his word "Alexei" which made him nod with a sweet smile.
"Wakey Wakey sleepy heads!!!!!" Hopper snapped , which made both of us nearly jumped.
"Urgh chief We're already up" I groaned with my croaky voice.
"Get up and cuff Smirnoff with a tree" he commanded by throwing the handcuff key at me. "We gotta fix this car" he continued.
I sighed and nodded at his order.
I lead Alexei out of the car, uncuff my wrist from the handcuff and cuff him to one of the trees.He could literally see the sadness on my face because I just felt so bad to do this to the innocent man.
"I'm sorry" I muttered quietly with my eyes looking down the ground.
"Kim" I heard Alexei's voice and looked up at him. He gestured me an okay sign with his hands cuffed and nodded his head gently. As if he's telling me not to feel sorry and that he understood this situation.
"Kim! I need a hand please" hopper asked help while I was trying to talk to Alexei.
"Yes coming !!" I replied while gesturing Alexei that I'll be back .
While I was helping Chief with his car, I saw Joyce asking Alexei about why her magnets fell off from her fridge. Well, Joyce and her never ending magnets as usual.

"Joyce! Please !!!! You're giving me a headache, both of you" hopper angrily growled at them for making him lost focus in fixing his car.
Hopper and Joyce started quarreling like they always do which make me felt exhausted. Then when Joyce started the engine, I could hear Alexei shouting something at us. "Shut up,Smirnoff!!" Hopper yelled .. Wait.. I realized what Alexei was saying then I stormed at Hopper "stop stop stop ! He's telling us to stop!!"
But it was too late, the car hood started to heat up with smokes coming out from it. Joyce rushed out of the car and I hurried in front of Alexei to cover him if the car explode.
And yes it exploded but thank goodness it didn't harm any of us . - - Thanks for reading ! 💕
