Chapter Four ~ Kacey Garlanes

I pull the van into the airport but before anyone can get out I speak. "I have to go over a few things with you guys, okay? " Everyone except Teagan nods. She's staring into space again. Rylee gets her attention.

"When we arrive in France we are all going to change our names into numbers. Only in public do we have to do this. Teagan you will be one, I will be three, Cannon will be five, Grayson will be seven, and Rylee will be nine. We will get our names changed legally and we will all change out last names to Gentium," I state "Sound good everyone?" I look at everyone for a minute.

"Yes boss" Cannon says. Everyone else nods. We all walk into the airport and board the plane. I paid $475 in cash and have only $25 left. I must get a job in France.

"I'm nervous," Grayson tells me. "It'll be fine buddy, just try and get some sleep," I respond. Grayson gets nervous too much and very often. I'm starting to see why he gets this way. Plus he is just a kid and he is not used to this. We are all just kids. We are all in danger.

I get up to go pee. Teagan stops me in the lane. "Can I come with you, I need to talk," She asks. "Yeah, come on," I mumble. We go into the bathroom. "Make it fast Squirt, I gotta pee," I tell her. "I feel weird," She says "and I can do this. I think the legend is real," she looks at the soap pump an it floats in the air. I tried to speak but all I could manage was "Oh," She sets it down.

"It's called telekinesis. That's all I can do right now," I look at her in complete awe. "Do not under any circumstances let anybody on this flight see you do this. Do you understand?" I say firmly. "Okay I promise not to show anyone," Teagan replies.

Teagan leaves the bathroom and I go pee. What else did her parents know? They knew that she would get Recs. Do they know anything else about the Tringers, or what's happening? More about our fates and the danger?
